I'm Riccardo. I budgeted with YNAB for many years and the method works. but you know what? The price has grown and grown over time, and it's time for a change. So I built JuicyMoney.

It does the parts I relied on:
- Assign money to categories month by month
- Watch Available roll over, cover overspending
- It syncs between multiple devices
- Let credit card spending move cash to a payment category so the statement is already funded.
- Reports show spending by category group, top categories, and a 12-month trend.

Two things I cared about more than feature count.

Leaving YNAB shouldn't cost you your history. Export your budget, upload the two CSVs, and accounts, categories, transactions, transfers and every month's assignments come across. Takes about two minutes. If you'd rather start clean, there's Fresh Start.

And it has to work on the phone, in the shop, with no signal. Your budget lives on your device first, so it opens and works offline, then syncs to your private account across every device you log into. Bottom navigation, fast entry, no waiting on a round trip.
