A simple article reader for the web. Read articles without clutter. Add "justthearticleplease.com/" or "jtap.cc/" before an article URL and read in visual peace. Or, if you prefer, visit the site, and enter an article url. Oh, there's also a nice "Copy just the article link" link so you can share it with friends and colleagues. Enjoy! @jnthnmyrs This is awesome - it's so much easier to think about and understand an article/post when the page is clean haha! I just tried it out and it's great. Looking forward to using this when catching up on all of the articles I've saved to read later

@curiouskitty I'm using good ol' Mozilla Readability for the extraction. I wanted something as simple as possible to get to the content of an article. There are some sites that block it, but it seems to work for most cases. Thanks for checking out the site!
Hey @jnthnmyrs this is a wonderful idea, and I love the interface, it's soo clean and simple. I love the viewed history on the bottom when you return to the page as well, nice touch. The dark colour for a visual reader is exactly what I want when I'm writing for my PhD thesis and reviewing articles.
A couple suggestions:
It would be great if you could, have a summarise button which keeps the same reader but summarises the content, extracting keywords just enough to see if the article is relevant / worth the read
A feature to highlight important references within an article
A feature to "Turn the lights on" - I love the dark but sometimes it makes me sleepy 😂

@minhajulll Thanks for checking out the site and thanks for the feedback!

Did I do anything wrong? Because I can see the image.

@busmark_w_nika Ah yes. You did everything right. In most cases it will show the article images and sometimes they get blocked. Thanks for trying it out!

Solve this easily on mobile browsers and you're onto a winner.

@sam_alexander1 for now, you can type "jtap.cc/" before an article url. That seems to work pretty well on mobile.
Yo @jnthnmyrs I replied to one of your posts on X
Sick product. I do research for H1Gallery newsletters, absolutely love your website headline and we are featuring it as our top feature in our issue for March 6th
Would super appreciate a quote from you to include. It really adds to the newsletter to get creator quotes.
FYI, Just the article please will be featured in our newsletter whether you comment or not so no pressure.
Thank you for your time, reach out to me wherever. I'll see it 🙏
