As a developer who recently migrated from Heroku, I found the "Kamal Handbook" to be a game-changer. This book dives deep into the Kamal tool, providing a detailed and practical guide that's perfect for real-world applications. What impressed me the most were the chapters on logging and debugging—areas where I've faced challenges in the past. The explanations are clear, making complex topics accessible even to those new to the tool.
The sections on CI/CD, cron jobs, and backups are equally well-crafted, offering actionable insights that I could implement right away.
Thanks to this handbook, I've not only smoothed out the migration process but also cut costs significantly. Every page of this book reflects a deep understanding of what developers face daily and provides solutions that work.
Thanks, Josef!

I appreciate the clear focus on simplifying the process for users who might struggle with the initial documentation. What feedback have you received from those who have used your handbook? I'm curious about the most common challenges people face when deploying with Kamal and how your handbook addresses them.

@r_martirosyan I got really good feedback so far and some ideas for the future too. Most people are simply not confident enough to leave smth like Heroku and the Handbook gave them that confidence. Decent amount of people asked about hosting multiple-apps on the same server which is not covered. I'll cover the topic when Kamal itself start supporting it as today it's more of a 'workaround' that I don't like.
Congratulations on the launch of Kamal Handbook! It's incredible to see how you've filled the gap with a comprehensive manual for the Kamal deploy tool. I'm sure many developers will greatly benefit from your insights and guidance.
As someone who values simplicity in deployment processes, I'm curious to know what inspired you to dive deeper into creating this handbook. What was the most challenging aspect of distilling complex information into a concise and understandable format for your readers?

@mashy I have seen people trying Kamal but abandoning the effort for whatever reason. I basically want Kamal to succeed and help fight the complexity that's Kubernetes.
