@dzrmb Thanks a bunch! We want to be the sales layer between the customer and the brand when it comes to online selling!

This looks great. It could definitely increase sales and be useful for many industries. for instance, I imagine what it could do in the travel and tourism industry. Does it accompany the customer all the way to the checkout/payment process? or does it stop at the selling point. I ask this because I know that % of abandoned shopping carts are a things.
Kandid
@jo_rangel Thanks for the thoughtful question! 🙌
Yes, Kandid can stay with the customer all the way through to checkout. It can help select products, add them to the cart, and then guide them right up to the payment stage. If the brand enables it, Kandid can also follow up on abandoned carts by offering reminders, incentives, or answering last-minute questions that might be blocking the purchase.
The goal isn’t just to sell, it’s to see the sale through and reduce that big chunk of lost revenue from abandoned carts. In industries like travel and tourism, that could mean assisting a customer from picking destinations and packages all the way to completing the booking. 🚀

Congrats on the launch, this looks great! One small thing, it would be great to have a streamed response instead of waiting for the chat response to load completely.

@julien_rioux That's a great suggestion Julien! Will surely pass on to the dev team

Hi PH community! I’m one of the developers at Kandid, and I want to share the side of this product that’s been the most exciting for me - making something that’s both AI-powered and brand-controlled.
Most AI tools feel like black boxes - you plug them in, they do their thing, but you can’t really shape them. With Kandid, we took the opposite approach. The AI does the heavy lifting - understanding shopper intent, answering questions, and upselling intelligently but the brand decides exactly how it behaves. You can:
- Set the tone and personality so it sounds like your brand, not “just another bot”
- Define custom conversation flows for different customer types
- Enable or disable features like upselling, cross-selling, or guided product discovery
The intelligent upselling feature was my personal baby. It doesn’t just randomly suggest products, it understands context. If a customer’s buying sunscreen, it might suggest a moisturizer with matching SPF protection. If they’re picking a dress, it could offer matching accessories.
As a builder, it’s rare to create something where brands enjoy tweaking and personalizing the AI - but here, that’s been one of the most common bits of feedback. Would love to hear how you’d customize your own AI sales assistant!

Hey everyone 👋
I’m part of the dev team behind Kandid, and my focus has been on the tech architecture and making sure our AI feels both powerful and practical for brands to adopt. From the start, we built Kandid to be AI-enabled from the ground up - no bolt-ons, no clunky integrations.
That meant we could:-
Train it on a brand’s product data and FAQs in hours, not weeks.
Ensure it plugs into different e-commerce stacks without headaches.
Build in analytics that actually show which conversations lead to sales.
A few features I’m particularly proud of:
Natural upselling and cross-selling that feels like a friendly suggestion, not a pushy salesperson
Full autonomy for brands to customize tone, recommendations, and even journey paths.
Revenue attribution so you know exactly how much the assistant is contributing to your sales The biggest challenge was balancing AI intelligence with brand safety.
We didn’t want an assistant that “goes rogue” or pushes products in ways the brand wouldn’t approve. The result is an AI assistant that’s smart, on-brand, and constantly learning, without ever taking the brand out of the driver’s seat.
Excited to see what industries beyond D2C might use Kandid in the future. If you’re building something similar or thinking about AI in sales, I’d love to swap notes!

Hey everyone 👋
I’ve been actively working on Kandid’s growth since the very beginning spending a lot of my time in conversations with brands, understanding their challenges, and figuring out how we can solve them better. Over time, I’ve seen a clear pattern: even the most successful e-commerce brands, once they scale, often have conversion rates as low as 1–2%. That’s a huge gap when you’re driving thousands of visitors every day.
The reason Kandid works for our customers is because it tackles that exact gap. By engaging visitors in real time, understanding their needs, and recommending the right products, it consistently lifts conversions, average order value, and revenue.
I’ve seen this impact firsthand:
A skincare brand handling ~15,000 interactions a month converts 17% of those chats into sales — adding ~$50K in monthly revenue.
A consumer gadgets brand converts 15% of ~4,000 interactions a month — generating ~$22K in additional monthly sales.
Another skincare & wellness brand sees 21% conversion from its ~3,900 monthly interactions, with a 1.3x higher average order value.
Across all brands we work with, Kandid contributes 5–8% of their total website revenue and lifts AOV by 27–32% through smart upselling generating $4.8M+ in net revenue to date for our partners.
It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch customers go from struggling to convert traffic into sales to seeing a meaningful chunk of their revenue coming from these conversations. Still a lot more to build, but we’re excited about the road ahead 🚀

@sanjaydotpro Haha yes, thanks for the feedback! A lot of it comes down to combining strong AI with a deep understanding of the context behind each brand and customer. The 'magic' you’re feeling is really the result of a lot of iteration, customer feedback, fine-tuning and making multiple AI agents work together seamlessly without breaking!
