Kherad is a self-hosted, git-backed wiki for teams. The editor feels like Notion, but every save is a real git commit and every publish goes through merge-request review, so nothing ships without a second pair of eyes. Pick an AI specialist agent, answer a few questions, and get a wiki-ready draft. Ask your knowledge base questions and get cited answers from reviewed docs. Ingest PDFs, Office docs, scans, or voice recordings as editable markdown. Apache 2.0, Docker Compose deploy.
Hey PH! I built Kherad because internal wikis at most companies either rot, since nobody reviews changes, or intimidate non-technical writers into never touching them. I wanted the editing experience of Notion with the rigor of a real git history and code-review-style approval, without ever asking authors to think about branches or merges. The part that changed the most while building: the AI agents. I started with just a RAG chat over the docs, but writers still had to stare at a blank page. So I added specialist agents that interview you about a topic and draft the page for you, ready to import and edit. Would love your feedback, especially on the git-backed review workflow.
