Most finance apps lock you into one method and a fixed layout. Kial is different: your home is a dashboard you build yourself from 30+ live widgets, arranged however you think about money β something no other finance app offers. Track accounts, cards & net worth with real balances, no bank-linking (private, works anywhere). Snap a receipt to auto-fill merchant, items & total. Start one-tap simple or go deep: budgets, savings, recurring & insights. iOS & Android, 8 languages.

How does the receipt scanning actually handle messy handwriting or weird foreign currencies, and is that part included in the free tier or behind a paywall?
@ekayal10109Β Great question! Scanning runs on a vision AI model, so it reads printed receipts really well and handles handwriting best-effort β the messier the scrawl, the more it may miss. The part I care about most: when something isn't clearly legible, it leaves the field blank instead of guessing, so you're never stuck fixing a confidently-wrong number β you just fill the gap with a tap. It's also region-aware on the stuff that trips most scanners up: DD/MM vs MM/DD dates, and tax-included prices (IVA/VAT) vs tax added at checkout.
And yes β it's in the free tier, no paywall. There's a fair daily limit, but scanning is free to use today.
Finally ditched the rigid layout thing. Dragging widgets around until my dashboard actually made sense took like two minutes, and the receipt scan nailed the total on a crumpled coffee receipt.
@sedanur1690233Β Love this β "until my dashboard actually made sense" is exactly what I was going for. And the crumpled-coffee-receipt test is the real one π Thanks for giving it a shot!
Update: Kial is now on Android π€
A few of you asked for this here β it's live today. Same app: build your own dashboard from 30+ widgets, snap a receipt to skip the typing, and now accounts & credit cards with balances, transfers, and cut/due-date reminders.

Thanks to everyone who tried the iOS version and left feedback β genuinely shaped what shipped. Would love to hear how it runs on your device.
