Replying from Telegram is what caught my eye. One less inbox to watch.
@alex_carter_05 That’s the idea! Website messages come to you in Telegram, and your replies go straight back to the visitor’s chat. One less tab to keep checking :)
Can conversations be exported later?
@wys1010 Not yet, but conversation export is on our roadmap! Is there a particular format you’d find useful?
How long do you keep conversation history?
@boyso Conversation history is kept for 90 days, so you can go back and review previous chats during that period.
So,can I put a booking link beside the chat for paid calls??
@tomzoe Yes! You can add a booking link alongside live chat. Just link to a booking page that supports paid calls, and visitors can schedule and pay there :)
What does a visitor need to enter before sending the first message?
@jackruirui By default, nothing! Visitors can just open the chat and start typing, no signup needed. If you want, you can also enable a pre-chat form to collect details like name, email, phone number, or a message.
How do you prevent two teammates from responding to the same chat?
@romy_chou Right now, we don’t have automatic conversation locking or assignment, so two teammates could potentially reply at the same time. For small teams, we recommend coordinating ownership in the shared inbox.
A bit on why we built Knocket.
For early teams, the hardest part of getting users usually isn't traffic. It's the moment someone finally cares about what you're building and can't find an easy way to reach you. That's where you lose them.
So: one line of code, and your site has a contact page — live chat, a contact form, social links, every message landing in one inbox.
Think of it as a personal page that answers back. The idea is simple: when a potential user shows up, let the conversation happen right there.
