Know Your Dosh is a web and mobile app available globally that empowers families to take control of their household finances in a simple, yet highly secure manner. Connect all accounts in one place with family sharing capabilities and multi-currency built in.
I'm the co-founder of Know Your Dosh and very excited to announce the launch of our mobile apps for the product to continue on our journey to empower families to take control of their finances.
I have seen lots of products in the fintech sector focus on individual customers for money management, but when I was approached by the founder (Varun Aggarwal) to help launch and grow this platform dedicated to families, which allows them to track, share and protect their wealth all in one place, I knew this was an underserved area in the market.
The app is globally available and we have lots of exciting features on the roadmap to add as we grow. We already have over £65 million in assets tracked from customers across 29 countries on the web platform and hope to make things even more accessible and adopted with the launch of the mobile apps.
Security is a key priority for us as well, with the following measures in place:
Bank-Level Encryption: All data is encrypted both in transit (using TLS) and at rest (using AES-256 encryption).
GDPR Compliant: We follow strict data protection standards and are fully GDPR compliant.
FCA Regulated: We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Secure Infrastructure: Our platform is hosted on highly secure cloud infrastructure with multiple layers of protection.
Zero Access Policy: Your financial data is private to you. Even our team cannot access your sensitive information without your explicit consent.

Great product! As a busy mum and a CEO it will simplify my family finances and as someone who recently had the difficult experience of consolidating a loved one’s expenses after they passed away I can say that it’s better to be prepared before you have to do it because you must! Thanks for this.

Whom are you targeting ? How would lover income families benefit from it ?

We're targeting families with fragmented financial situations, multiple accounts, pensions, savings, mortgages, investments, but lack the tools to manage them cohesively. And as you can imagine, that could well be most families!
For lower-income families specifically:
• Financial organisation - centralise and track what you have
• Prevent "lost" money - ensure benefits, refunds, or small savings don't get forgotten
• Family financial literacy - teach children about money management through shared visibility
Ultimately, we believe every family deserves tools to manage their money securely and transparently.
