Hey Product Hunt,
Built Korpiss because I was sick of "free" background removers that watermark your image, cap you at 3 tries, or quietly ship your photos off to some server you know nothing about.
Everything runs right in your browser. We use AI to handle the background removal automatically, and your images never leave your computer — no upload, no server round-trip, nothing. On top of that, if the AI doesn't nail it perfectly, you can clean it up yourself with a basic brush tool or a more precise lasso for tricky edges.
It's free, no catch. No watermark, no paywall, no "upgrade to unlock." It's ad-supported so the tool stays fully usable without asking for your card.
Solo dev here, built this nights and weekends. Try it out and tell me what breaks — hair, transparent objects, and busy backgrounds are usually where these models struggle, so that's the feedback I want most.

Love that there's no sign-up hassle, the AI cutout was surprisingly clean on product photos. One thing that would make it a daily driver for me: batch processing with drag and drop for like 10-20 images at once, saving them as a zip. Right now handling individual files one by one gets old fast when I'm prepping a whole catalog for upload.

@phineas_roberts The main idea is indeed to avoid the need for registration. As for the batch processing feature, it is on the implementation roadmap, and I believe it will be released in a few days.

honestly the brush tool is pretty solid for fixing edges, but it would be clutch to have a magic eraser where i just click on a color and it wipes all of it out at once. would save me a ton of time on busy backgrounds

@kardelenc98273 I like the idea. I'm going to run some tests to implement this feature in a future release.
