Keep saving links you never come back to? Introducing Laterbase, an AI-powered bookmark manager designed to transform the way you save, search, and interact with your bookmarks.
Hey ProductHunt!
I wanted to share something I built over the holidays – Laterbase - which is a tool for anyone who's ever found themselves with a pile of bookmarks they never revisit. Laterbase enables you to save bookmarks effortlessly, search through them quickly, and use AI to ask questions about the content you've saved.
Give it a try and share your thoughts!
Yeah! An awesome time-saver. Bookmarks are useful but it become a problem when there are so many. It will save my mind. Thanks for that and all the best on this launch
hey Samuel! great product
I'm wondering if there is an option to create your own tags. Also would love to have it as a mobile app

Hey Samuel! 😄 That's awesome! Laterbase sounds like a helpful tool. Curious to know, how does the AI feature work? Can it suggest related content based on what you've saved?
@goyashy Thanks Yash! It's fairly basic at the moment; it breaks down the content of each bookmark into chunks, generates embeddings for each and stores them in a vector database. It then generates embeddings for your question and passes the most similar chunks into an OpenAI prompt. The AI's context is limited to your bookmarks right now, so it can't yet suggest related content.

Great tool! I'm curious about its capabilities. Are there any limitations when it comes to importing and exporting bookmarks?

Impressive concept, addressing a genuine need, sleek UI. Dealing with a messy bookmarks folder is a common challenge, and your tool appears to be a practical solution to tackle that issue. Awesome job, @sjdobbie!
