👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I'm thrilled to be launching my first product 🚀 - Layover Planner
This idea was born from personal experience. I’ve spent countless hours stuck in airports, staring at the departure board and knowing there was an amazing city just waiting to be explored. The problem was, I never knew where to start. How do I get to the city? Where can I store my luggage? What can I realistically see in just a few hours? The research felt overwhelming for such a short trip.
I realized many travellers share this same frustration: wasting precious time during layovers because they lack quick, easy-to-access information. Layover Planner attempts to address this problem.
My goal is to help travellers transform this inconvenience into valuable travel experiences through informative airport layover guides. Each guide provides all the necessary information you need to make the most of your time, including:
🚆 Transportation Options: Clear instructions on the best ways to get from the airport to the city center.
🧳 Luggage Storage: A list of convenient places to drop your bags.
🏛️ Curated Tourist Attractions: A list of must-see sights, categorized by interest, price, and the length of your layover.
😋 Local Cuisine: A peek at the local food scene to help you grab an authentic bite.
The website currently has guides for major international hubs ranging from Amsterdam to Dubai to New York, and many more coming soon!
I’m really excited to share this side project of mine with this community and would love to get your feedback.
What features or extra info could I add to make your city visit during an airport layover even more stress-free?
And, of course, for which other cities would you like to see a layover guide?
Thanks for checking it out!
