@ldesserrey Sweet job! You probably already knew that the enterprise version of this is being done quite well by Tom Williams (https://www.tellyourbossanything...) . It's an interesting space with multiple ways to go forward. I'd say, if you want to seriously consider this is a business, your largest obstacle might be long-term email deliverability. Any thoughts how to maintain good sending relationships with major esps?
@shane_112 Yep Shane, I already heard about it. Deliverability and Security are our main concerns :) We currently exchange with majors esps to optimize deliverability. It's working almost perfectly :p
@rrhoover Hey Ryan, What a week! And it all started right here :) Seb and I didn't expect that people would be sending that much leaks over the week! It's actually a good issue. We totally understand the reaction of Mandrill and Sendgrid, that's why we're currently building a dedicated email server with specific features needed by our service. #moderation #deliverability #security #privacy #scalability

Cool Concept. Eager to see how this develops. Perhaps it could be used as a law enforcement application. Anonymous tip line maybe?

Love the simplicity (it's also much better looking than any of the alternatives listed above). I could see it being used as a tool for whistleblowers and those with tips for journalists. Though I could imagine it'd be tough for a writer to verify the source without being able to reply to the initial email.
Perhaps as feature down the line being able to keep the session alive on the sender's side without ever having to log in so that if you do send something to a journalist you can start an anonymous email thread to verify your story.
Look forward to see where you take this @ldesserrey.
@rustydingo That's right, Leak can be used for journalism, and that could be interesting to implement the 'Reply' feature for this. Leak is somewhere between Secret and Wikileaks. But we can't cover the source/whistleblower as Wikileaks does, so if it's about something REALLY important, you should use Wikileaks. However, if it's about something 'light", leak is way more easy to use. Wikileaks is more for big deals.

@ldesserrey agreed, Wikileaks for the big stuff. I was more thinking along the lines of things like product leaks (like fuzzy iPhone 6 screenshots ;) )
@ow Hi owen :) Like I said to @rustydingo "Leak can be used for journalism. Leak is somewhere between Secret and Wikileaks. But we can't cover the source/whistleblower as Wikileaks does, so if it's about something REALLY important, you should use Wikileaks. However, if it's about something 'light", leak is way more easy to use. Wikileaks is more for big deals." What do you think?

I have always thought you should "own" what you say, but there are definitely times when anonymity and discretion are needed for well-intended pings. This could also be used for companies to get honest feedback from their employees (we did something similar at a company I was at, but didn't have this nicely designed app).
Folks! Thank you so much for the incredible feedback you gave yesterday. Here is the story about what happened before and a little bit after PH: http://goo.gl/fwa71I :)
