Use this application to simply create lists of links. Use it to create a wishlist of items from eBay or Etsy (or both!), or a list of funny blog posts/videos/images that you want to share with a friend.
I created this app initially as a way to share more than a few URL's to my wife. As I mention in the "What can I create a list of?" link on the website, I regularly get caught looking through the /r/aww subreddit, and finding things that I know my wife would like. Rather than sending her tens of messages, I can now just send her one, and she can remove links as she looks at them - sort of like a to do list.
As well as for sharing cute animal photos to my wife, I wanted to be able to share a wish list of items from eBay and Etsy. It's amazing to think that they both don't have a wish list (or any working list functionality), so this application comes in very handy for that. The application has the added benefit of being able to add links to products on any website, so the wish list doesn't have to be tied to a single store/vendor, it can be a wish list of anything on the Internet!
Feel free to ask me any questions, or check out the application and have a look at the code! it's open sourced :)

It would be great if there was a possibility to add some text. Just a couple of words so if I send it to somebody I can add something like "Hey buddy, here are a couple of links to X you were asking me about"...
@danischenker Hi Dani! Thanks for your support and suggestion. As for the small message, I did consider that, even the ability to just give the list a title so it could be easily distinguishable if a user has multiple lists. As for adding a short message, I think that would more so go in the message that shares the link, rather than inside the link itself. What do you think?
I like the idea of giving a list a title, so I will add that to the To Do list, and hopefully have it in the next update :)

@luke_denton Sure, that works. I guess a title will be enough :)
@danischenker Hey Dani, I have just updated Links List with a few features, one of which is the ability to add some text ;).. Please check it out and let me know what you think! :)

It is great product. I wish we can import html bookmarks exports of safari or chrome. This would make this product extremely useful.
@mohammedalrozzi Hi Mohammed, thanks for your support! Whilst it's not immediately obvious, it is possible to "import" bookmarks. All you need to do is download a copy of your bookmarks to a HTML or similar file, open that file in a text editor, select *all* text, copy, and then paste that into Links List. I've set up the input so that it will parse all text, looking for links. I hadn't actually intended for this exact use case, so I did have to test first. I was able to export my Chrome bookmarks, and when pasting the output HTML into the link input field, Links List correctly picked up ~340 bookmarks :). Give it a go!

@luke_denton thanks a lot. this is awesome. this site could be improved by turning it into across-browser bookmarks management. I've been looking for such extentions/app/service for years now. the other improvement I suggest is to add the possibility of adding folders to organise links inside. My idea is to have one single link in which you can access folders/tags, which has your favourite pages. thanks again and let me know of any developments. Cheers.
@mohammedalrozzi Thanks for the suggestion Mohammed! I think the scope of what you're after is a bit much for what I intended Links List to be.. It's going to pain me to say this, as I am currently working on an application that is essentially what you're after, but there are some applications that already exist that are do what you're after. I would like to say they're not as good as the application I'm working on, but they do have one thing over mine - they're finished! It sounds like you're after an online bookmark manager :)

@luke_denton Thanks for your response Luke. I've been looking for a good bookmark management app/extension that work on different browsers (with syncing enabled) but there are not many that provide a good user experience. I am looking forward to see the development of your app. I liked the Links List a lot because it is clean, user-friendly and straightforward. please keep me updated on any developments. It would be awesome if I can get my profile and all my listings remain available for a short period of time. Thanks for creating this!
@tanmay_singh2 Hi Tanmay! Thank you for your support. I apologize for it taking a while for me to reply, I couldn't figure out how to actually reply to a comment on Product Hunt! Had to get in touch with support and now I'm good to go. Anyway, regarding being able to view your profile, I'm interested what this could look like. Would you want your profile to be persistent across devices? Or just saved on the device that the list was created on.Making them available across multiple devices would involve setting up authentication, and possibly have a negative effect on the apps "simple" ethos.. Would love to hear further thoughts on the idea though!
@luke_denton Nice idea! I was looking for something similar since long time. I am using it to publish stuff to sale, I'm working abroad and furnished a small apartment with Ikea stuff, instead of taking pictures, I am using Links List to create a list of the items at the store, that I plan to share it through local FB groups, WhatsApp etc, the only drawback I found is that anyone with the link can add or remove URLs to or from the list, preserving the same linkslists.app/abcd1234. The easiest way would be to password protect from edition the short URL. Just an idea, best of luck!
Hi @jose_manuel_diaz, thanks for checking out Links List! I've definitely got password protection, or a read only mode, on the feature list! I am currently reviewing the best way to implement and make available to users :)
