Traction comes in all forms. Just getting my foot in the door of the discussion about the future of Twitter makes it worth it. We weren't having much of a discussion either, just accepting very limited movement, all of it driven by Twitter Corp's need to monetize and make the stock market happy. The core users, people who use the tool seriously, haven't had an upgrade in ages. So let's start thinking about what we can do with what we have. How we can make Twitter as a platform work the way we want it to. The API is remarkably intact, and they have to be creative now, it seems to me, at least it's worth trying out some ideas to see where they go. And if this goes somewhere I have a lot mroe after it. So as I said traction comes in a lot of forms. ;-)
@davewiner - you're not the first person to ask for an RSS feed. As more products are submitted, I'm not sure RSS readers will want the firehose of product submissions so it might be better if we deliver products that receive 5+ upvotes, for example. I'll chat w/ the team about it.
When you signed up you'll also get an email digest (monday - friday) with the previous day's top 5 upvoted products (you can also switch this to weekly or unsubscribe).
Feel free to shoot your thoughts to ryan[at]ryanhoover.me or @rrhoover.
@davewiner would be cool feature if you would list and promote the tweets that use your tool. Sorted by retweets or something. Getting some exposure would be a good reason to use this as a user, and for new users shows ideas on how to tweetstorm properly...
