Hey everyone
Yesterday I launched something weirdly simple but surprisingly powerful, a resume that never dies.
You download the PDF once
and it keeps updating itself forever.
Projects, skills, links, everything stays alive.
The launch went way better than I expected (we even hit the top charts (#6 )), and I m insanely grateful to everyone who checked it out, messaged, upvoted, or just got curious for a second
Live Resume
This is great and solves a real pain point. When do you plan to include a feature where Live resume automatically creates resume catered to a specific job role?
Live Resume
@ashish_batwara Thank you! Noted... I will be working on to implement this feature very soon and hopefully shipping it correct, as a solo developer just need a bit of time.
Looks awesome. What is the pricing like? It says "start for free"... Also, are there any APIs available to retrieve a subset of the data?
Live Resume
@troywweber Yes it's free, and you are getting APIs for your resumes too, check it out !!
This is such a smart fix - outdated PDFs are a real headache when you’re applying everywhere. Love the idea of a resume that always stays fresh automatically. How does this behave if a recruiter forwards the PDF to someone else later - does the updated data still sync for them too?
Live Resume
@evgenii_zaitsev1 Thank you for your valuable feedback ! & Exactly! That’s why I built it this way. Forward it, download it, save it for months, the moment someone opens it, it syncs with your latest profile instantly. I’m also working on more features and a much more polished, customizable UI, so this will get even better over time.
Hi, I love your idea! How about later supporting LaTeX for formatting resumes? A vast number of students near me are using pre-existing online LaTeX templates to shape their resumes, and I think it would be amazing if users could customize the PDF format!
Live Resume
@eunyul_wang Thank you! LaTeX support is already planned.
I’m working on more customizable templates next, and LaTeX formatting fits perfectly into that.
This is just version 1 , many more features on the way. Keep in touch!
@ranvijayy_ What a really cool idea, the only issue is that these days there seems to be an expectation that resumes are optimized for every job posting, so you would have a unique resume every time you apply for a job. Still, for those people who are working in fields where their master resume is sufficient, it would be a real cool time saver.
Live Resume
@philliphamnett I believe your resume should be a single, consistent document. Optimizing it for every job posting has become trendy, but honestly, it feels like a failure of the current hiring systems. Your resume represents your real career journey — it shouldn’t need to be constantly changed or manipulated. I strongly feel everyone should maintain one clear, master online resume.

Congratulations on your launch. Love the concept of a resume that never goes stale. Super useful for job seekers.

@nikvoice Thank you so much!!
