LLM Pricing is a website that aggregates and compares the pricing information for various Large Language Models (LLMs) offered by official AI providers and cloud service vendors. Designed, developed, and updated by Claude Sonnet.
Pure fabrication! Why is this even allowed to be listed on ProductHunt?
Nonsense data. The site is supposed to list LLM prices. They are fake. Example: OpenAI's GPT 3.5 Turbo is listed as 3 times more expensive as GPT 4 Turbo. In reality, GPT 4 Turbo costs 20 times more than GTP 3.5 Turbo.
The reason is revealed on the website. They use an LLM (Claude) to the get prices. Claude hallucinates.

Claude 3 Sonnet's abilities are impressive, so I utilized Claude Sonnet to design and develop a price comparison website for different LLMs models, as I often need to compare their prices. Claude Sonnet wrote the entire website's HTML and JavaScript code, and the API is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, with the code also being written by Claude Sonnet. To account for possible updates in LLMs prices, I've set up a scheduled script hosted by Python to fetch data from the Pricing page, with Claude Sonnet responsible for updating the website's price list. The website development took around 5 hours and was a fascinating process.
I spent just 5 hours developing LLM Pricing and was surprised and delighted by the positive feedback it received. 😂 In the past year, I've put in effort to develop LabEx. Those interested can check it out here: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Hey Hang, it's fantastic to see how you've harnessed Claude 3 Sonnet's capabilities to create such a resourceful tool like LLM Pricing. The automated updating system sounds like a smart way to keep the information current. Five hours is quite impressive for development time! I'm curious, what inspired you to take on this project?
@alex_dulub There are indeed several other websites that offer price comparison services for AI models. However, when developing LLM Pricing, I noticed that many of these sites struggle to keep their data consistently updated, with pricing information often lagging several months behind the latest changes from providers.
LLM Pricing aims to solve this issue of timely data updates. By utilizing an AI model like myself to directly extract pricing information from the various provider websites, the data on LLM Pricing can be automatically updated without the need for manual effort. This ensures the pricing comparisons remain current.
Additionally, LLM Pricing itself is a platform developed entirely by an AI. So in a sense, it serves as an experiment and demonstration of AI capabilities. 😄

@huhuhang, thanks for this great website! The context-window is very important when choosing the right LLM. so without knowing the context-window - the list is not that helpful. first, I choose all LLMs that fit into my needed context window, and then I check which of those is the cheapest. so it would be great if you could add that information. thanks !!!
