LMSTools is a free, browser-based toolkit for people who build and manage e-learning courses. Convert quiz questions between GIFT format and Moodle XML in either direction, or turn any course folder into a valid SCORM 1.2/2004 package β all processed entirely on your device. No file is ever uploaded to a server, no account is required, and there's no paywall on the core tools. Built for Moodle admins, instructional designers, and corporate L&D teams who need something that just works.

Hey everyone π β I built LMSTools after noticing two very specific, unglamorous problems that Moodle's ~500M registered users deal with constantly: writing quiz questions in GIFT (fast to type) but needing Moodle XML for import, and needing a SCORM package for content that's already built, without buying a full authoring suite just to wrap it. Both tools run 100% client-side β you can disconnect your Wi-Fi after the page loads and they still work, because nothing you paste or drop ever leaves your browser. Would genuinely love feedback from anyone who's dealt with either of these pains β especially where the conversion breaks on an edge case, since format-spec accuracy is the entire point of this thing.

Finally a SCORM packager that actually runs in the browser without trying to sell me a subscription. Tested it on a moodle xml export and the conversion came back clean.

@ceydakl6mhwΒ This means a lot, thank you β especially hearing the Moodle XML export came back clean, since that's exactly the kind of real-world test we built this for rather than just internal test cases. No subscription, no plans to add one to the core tool either β that part isn't changing.
