4 months ago I was talking to my best friend ( my co-founder) about AI, I always thought AI to be very professional and its way of writing and talking easily detectable but he pointed out a product called Chai and when I tried it I was blown away seeing AI can also be so good at understanding human emotions. So my friend joked about making something similar I got an idea ( I was walking while talking to him and always got good ideas while walking ). I just decided to learn more about how LLMs work, what is Lora, what fine-tuning is, and how to do all these things. I remember fine-tuning my first Mistral 3b model on my Mac it blew me away that something like this was possible I played around dataset a little and tweaked some settings, I quickly called and asked my friend if he remembered his suggestion to create an AI model that's very good at understanding complex human emotions, I somehow convinced him to work on this idea together, so 3 months now the web app is in beta version already 500+ people have tried and returned after 24 hours with avg time spent per person on the platform are 15 minutes. I got a lot of feedback ( really a lot from Reddit and Discord). I only did a few Reddit posts and people loved it so much that it fueled me to work on it more so for the last 2 weeks I have been going insane working on it. It feels tiring but I get a sense of accomplishment because it's my first time working on my own idea so hard.
