This looks really cool but this market has many competitors? What makes you stand out?
Also, I looked Lrn up on Google and it seems like you are getting some good press, how did you go about doing that? Good luck to you guys!
@itsmawr There are a lot of great options to learn to code on the desktop. We want to focus on mobile. We have a lot of features in the pipeline that will make the experience even more immersive. Excited to keep you in the loop :) As for the press, I guess its because the only other thing anyone is covering is donald trump :P

This is awesome @nathanbernard! I think JS is a great choice, the key now is to figure out how to make sure you retain people people who signed up with intent to learn
EDIT: whats your email btw? would love to get in touch
@rocketclubco Thanks man, glad you like it! We definitely have some solid features on the roadmap to make the experience more engaging and increase the longevity of a users lifespan. My email is nathan@lrnapp.com if you want to catch up sometime more in depth.
This idea reminds me of Duolingo - making learning of "languages" fun. Very lightweight and well-designed.
Not too hard, but hard enough to make you think!
@doriandargan Thanks for the kind words! We definitely aspire to the level of quality Duolingo has achieved and will keep building towards that. Can't wait to keep you updated.
@ericfriedman Thanks for posting. One big reason we went with mobile is the ease of getting into a daily routine. Learning to code (or anything that matter) is reliant on daily repetition and we wanted to make that easier for people.
super awesome product. My gf is in process of learning javascript and this came in just right time especially as she also has long ride to her work. Looking forward to more lessons and more languages. I am advertising you everywhere :)
I like what you're doing, I really do, but I have never been a fan of trying to code on my phone. I tried Codecadamy iPhone app and I was too busy retyping words I fat fingered than actually learning. The other reason was super small screen, this would be a great iPad app. Good Luck :)
@koridhandy We actually tried to eliminate typing from the app (for the most part). If you end up checking it out let me know if it's a better experience for you!
hey, can you move the iphone screenshots on your landing page a little bit higher so that it shows the entire phone without scrolling. i am getting a little uneasy about that. :)
