I am the indie developer behind this game. I love the Apple TV show severance, especially the old but mysterious devices these refiners use when they are underground. Like, you see numbers, but you never know what their meanings are. I developed this game to mimic that MDR terminal, but want to make it easier for everyday people (who are not severed with Lumon brain control chip) to play, so I put in mathematics and emoji sorting puzzles. In easy math puzzle levels, you sort numbers based on even and odd. It might sound easy, but the tricky part is that you cannot select a single number, you have to drag to select multiple numbers of the same category, and the more numbers you select in one shot, the higher the score you get. For example, you start from 2, go to 6, go to 8 (which are all even numbers), and you avoid touching odd numbers like 1. And you release your finger from the screen once you select all the numbers nearby that are even. In emoji sorting challenges, you sort emojis by happy or sad tempers. This aligns with the TV show and provides more fun for people to enjoy this game. What more is that I added a lot of visual effects and sound effects, and even mysterious BGM to make this experience more real. I completed this game within fewer than 3 days, and I hope fans of the Apple TV show Severance can play this game and also use this to exercise the brain.
