Good idea but... it's SOOO expensive! I can probably do it myself in a couple of hours by fiddling around with abstruse configurations, spending another couple of hours trying to troubleshoot problems on StackOverflow and perhaps another 2 hours trying to find the right tune!
I'd rather waste 6 hours of my life than paying you $4.99!!!

Yes. If you think about it, it's helping to protect a $2000 essential work equipment. So yeah, $5 it REALLY low.

As an iPhone user, most of the time I'd be in do-not-disturb mode, especially when I'm working. It'd be quite disturbing for me if I have to turn that off every time I wanna go to toilet. What's your take on it? If I'm on DND, then I wouldn't get the notification whatsoever then.
However, the problem has been solved for me, since most of the time I'd have my wife beside me. But realizing that for people that still don't have one yet, $10 is obviously worth it!

I am unclear that this is an actual problem. When I'm in a public place and have to use the restroom, I bring my things with me in my backpack. I'm not setting up the war room from 1983's War Games. It's just a laptop I close and slide into my bag. Then again, I do have to untangle my headphones every time. That's a problem I'd pay $4.99 to solve.
@brendan_hufford As someone who has worked in cafes all around the world for years, I have never once packed my laptop up to go to the restroom. Apparently i'm krazy x.x
I'm digging this and will likely buy it. Will I get access to future upgrades? Can you please sign the app? I'm not a fan of having unverified software.

Do you know about 4 second pressing of power button, that immediately turn off the Macbook? Is there any way to protect from this attack, @andreyazimov ?

Pros:Definitely the n°1 problem when you‘re working in cafe, now solved 💪🏻 Loud alarm + text message on the phone, great combo!
