@rrhoover do they acknowledge that the answer is wrong, even if it is the most popular? I'm wary of this becoming another mechanism of spreading, or propagating "alternative facts". Sigh.
@rrhoover@mickc79 We stay away from asking factual questions, and instead ask questions that are pretty subjective — so there isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer. A good example is "Name a sport that is often played on the beach". While there isn't a factually correct answer, "volleyball" definitely makes sense
@rrhoover@jakemor ah ok that sounds pretty cool. There is a game show here called “family fortunes” which uses that exact model. I’m surprised now that no one has taken that format to an app. Well, no I someone has.

@rrhoover@jakemor@mickc79 I remember playing something on similar lines. It was called "Family feud", and I remember playing it on the web. Don't remember the site/platform.
EDIT: A simple web search led me here: https://play.google.com/store/ap...
Appears to be US only!

I like the idea however as an Android user I can't try it out. Also there is no indication on the homepage of what platforms the app has been created for, so entering my phone number provides zero value to me.
@golear Sorry Gabe, we've definitely been neglecting our Android friends. Truth is, we're only two people and I've never done Android. Stay tuned though, an Android release is top priority.
@jakemor Good to hear. Had the exact same feedback as Gabe, but excited to see that it's a top priority. I know it's hard to make estimates, but any idea on timeline?
Really love this concept and would definitely play it more than HQ, because HQ is an awesome concept but my two main gripes with it are:
- random trivia isn't very fun after a couple games
- it moves SO......SLOW......and the multiple-minute wait after the notification comes in, combined with the multiple minute opening remarks make me lose all interest in the game
Really clever idea guys! I just downloaded and look forward to playing tonight.

@j_sherz AMAZING question! We actually built an algorithm that groups similar words and phrases based on synonyms and typos. It took very long to fine tune but we think it's just about there!
@alexwinkyface good question! We did explore this thought, but found that having a host creates more engagement and allows us to connect with users on a more personal level. With that said, we totally get where your'e coming from - which is why we make it a priority to get through the questions as quickly as possible 🙂

Really a joy to play and Johnny definitely keeps it fun. The one thing I might add in is maybe an introduction of what that night’s demographics look like since the game is so focused on the other players. Would be really cool to see how the players change as the number grows
