Most travel apps stop at "been to that country." Mapsprink goes deeper: check in a country, then its states/provinces, and in 27 countries all the way down to individual districts. Earn medals, collect stickers, locate yourself, works fully offline, and backs up to your own Google Drive — no account, your data stays yours.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm the solo maker behind Mapsprink.
For years I wanted to track my travels by region — not just "been to that country," but the actual states, prefectures and districts inside. I could never find an app that did it across every country: most stop at the country level, and the few that go deeper were each built for a single country.
I'm not a developer by trade, so for a long time I just lived without it. What finally changed is the recent wave of AI tooling — it made it realistic for me to build the whole thing myself, on both Android and iOS.
Right now you can check in whole countries, their main regions, and in 27 countries all the way down to a second level (individual districts / counties). Medals, stickers, offline-first, and backups go to your own Google Drive — I never see your data.
Would love your feedback — how deep do you like to track your travels, and which countries should I add deeper support for next?

Been using something like this for years and the Google Drive backup is a really nice touch. One idea: add a "suggest next goal" feature that picks a nearby state or district you haven't visited yet, based on your current location or recent check-ins. Would make planning road trips way more addictive.

@demethdpf Thanks — and that's a genuinely good one. A "suggest next goal" that points you to a nearby unvisited state or district based on where you are would fit the collector loop really well. Writing it down.

The district-level check-ins are a really cool twist for someone like me who loves geeking out over detailed maps. Offline mode working without an account was a nice surprise too.

@cemregzelat4rl Appreciate it. The district-level detail is exactly the rabbit hole this was built for, and no-account offline was a deliberate call — glad it landed.
