MarkdownViewer.org is a free online editor for writing, previewing, and exporting Markdown. It supports GFM, 190+ highlighted languages, LaTeX math, Mermaid diagrams, multi-tab editing, and private URL sharing. No account or document upload is required.
A custom CSS option for the preview pane would be huge, so I can match my blog's typography and colors while drafting. Right now the default theme looks clean but clashes a bit with my own site's styling.
@hazal360388 Thanks for the feedback, Hazal! This is actually a fantastic idea, and I'm adding it to the roadmap right away. What's the URL or current theme/typography of your blog? If you'd like, I can prioritize adapting the viewer to your site's style first. The goal is to support multiple preset themes as well as full custom CSS.

You can now use custom CSS to style the preview pane exactly how you want it—as shown in the attached screenshot. If you'd like to see the details on how to set it up, you can check out the guide here: Style your Markdown preview.

Would be great if you could add a simple toggle to lock the editor pane to a specific width so the preview stays side-by-side on smaller screens without forcing a full-screen switch. That little quality-of-life touch would make long writing sessions much smoother.

I've just added this feature—you can now go to Settings and adjust the Split ratio slider to set your preferred width for the editor and preview panes. This should keep your side-by-side view stable on smaller screens exactly the way you described.

A collab mode where two people can edit the same doc in real time via the shared URL would make this way more useful for pairing on docs or notes with a coworker. Right now the link is view-only, which is great for sharing but missing the live editing piece.

A real-time collaborative mode is definitely an exciting direction, but as you know, there are already many established collaborative workspace tools out there. Could you tell me a bit more about your specific use case? In particular, what are the gaps or pain points in mainstream tools that you feel a lightweight, private tool like this could solve better?
Additionally, implementing live sync would shift this from a pure client-side tool to one that requires dedicated server resources. If this collaborative feature were to be introduced as a premium/paid add-on to cover those server costs, do you think users would find value in it?
