I am writing to provide feedback regarding this concept, as I have serious concerns about its ethical, environmental, and creative implications.
Artificial intelligence already consumes significant amounts of energy across its development, training, and deployment, contributing to measurable environmental impacts. Proceeding without adequately addressing these consequences prioritises profit over environmental responsibility, which is deeply concerning.
Additionally, AI is not capable of true creativity. As artificial intelligence, it generates outputs by drawing from existing material across the internet. This raises legitimate concerns around originality and plagiarism, particularly when AI-generated content is used in creative or written work. Developing an application that monetises derivative content risks exploiting the original ideas and labour of others without proper recognition or consent.
Beyond this, the increasing replacement of human creative work with AI technologies threatens jobs, livelihoods, and the broader cultural value of human creativity. These impacts should not be dismissed or minimised.
I strongly encourage you to reconsider this idea and reflect on its long-term ethical, environmental, and social consequences. As it stands, the concept appears to rely on practices that undermine originality, creative industries, and environmental sustainability.
