Looks really great and polished! It's annoying how clunky these VR apps usually are... Anyway, do you have any plans to support AR or will it always been fully immersed in the meeting? I'm wondering if you can use this as a productivity tool on your own as well.
@gidea Great question Vlad. We have recently partnered up with top-notch XR headset provider Varjo and entered XR collaboration market. Can find more information or our collab here: https://varjo.com/product-update...
Super interesting but why the arbitrary limit of 12 in various rooms? Plenty of companies have 15-20 person standups, it feels like there is a gap between the "max of 12 meeting" and the auditorium that should be addressed.
I guess it feels weird that you restrict meeting size at all. What's the reason for that?
@arlogilbert Thanks for the feedback! The Auditorium, as mentioned here https://meetinvr.com/vr-rooms/ , is temporarily limited to 12 users. This is specifically so the performance is still ok for the Oculus Quest. We will likely increase the limit tin some of the other rooms as well in the coming months. However, we will not be focusing on large scale events since there are other amazing VR apps which are perfect for that! :)
Also, what is the pricing? A 30 day trial is great but not if the pricing is undisclosed and so far it seems like the only $ figure listed is how you'll save me $630k which leads me to believe you may be pricing your product as some sort of function of what you propose you've saved us (which is wildly incorrect by a factor of maybe 100% b/c in fact you'd save us no money, we'd still have to pay for Zoom and our employee's computers, so the benefit is better team culture).
Our team is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and for the past 4 years, we’ve been building one of the leading VR collaboration solutions in collaboration with Stanford University and a number of Fortune500 companies. We have now released MeetinVR Beta to everyone!
Our goal is to eliminate unnecessary business travel, improve productivity and team cohesion for remote teams, and to help companies reach Sustainable Development Goals. Teams can host meetings that are hard or impossible to do using traditional video-conferencing tools. These include brainstorming and 3D mind-mapping sessions, presentations and reviews, focus groups - to name a few. Of course, it is also a great tool for daily, strategy and high-level planning meetings as well.
We care deeply about our user’s experience so any feedback and suggestions are more than welcome. 🙏🏼
Feel free to drop a comment if you have any questions or recommendations!

@tomas_budrys How much time can I spend in VR so that my vision doesn't get damaged?
@nikolay_puzevich although there is no evidence that long exposure to VR screens can cause permanent damage, we recommend taking regular breaks :)

Actually saw first kind of a product like this. However, I understand there has been significant developments in the area of AR and VR but on a commercial level this is going to be really interesting. Looks like it is really going to change the way we think and work. All the very best Tomas for the launch and I will keep an eye on it 👍
@hemant79 You are very much on point. The demand for solution like our is growing at a tremendous pace. VR / XR meetings will be a norm sooner than you think :)

If you want to hold a meeting that includes users without an Oculus headset, their user experience and options to engage will be significantly worse than Zoom. It could be a great tool but it's not there yet.
@taryn_skinner That is correct - without headsets, there is less point meeting in VR. The product is build primarily for HMD use. Nevertheless we do have a few major interaction developments for desktop users on our road map. Thanks for trying it out :)
