Mellem sits in your Mac menu bar and watches your workday unfold. It connects to your calendar, detects when your calls actually end, and offers short guided meditations at the moments you need them most. After a draining call, between back-to-backs, or when your day starts piling up, Mellem is there to help. No remembering, no finding time, no opening anything. The lowest-friction way to build a meditation habit at work, and the only app that knows what your day actually feels like.

Hey everyone, I'm Jason. I'm a PM which means I've spent the last few years in back-to-back meetings. I've meditated on and off for over a decade, but the habit never carried over into work, where I actually needed it most.
I'd download Headspace, Calm, Insight Timer etc. but the streak always came to an end and the routine faded. I wanted something that brought meditation into a stressful workday, with as little friction as possible to access those much needed moments of calm.
So I built Mellem. It connects to your work calendar, uses your Mac's microphone to detect when your calls actually end (not when the calendar says they should), and offers a short guided meditation that fits the time you have. If your meeting ends 10 minutes early, it notices. If you've been in back-to-backs for 3 hours, it knows. Mellem knows how your day feels, and shows up when you truly need it.
The whole thing runs from your menu bar. No phone, no app switching. No friction. Within two clicks you can be in a session. To everyone else you're just someone wearing earbuds between calls.
I built it because nothing like it existed. Calendar tools like Reclaim create the gap but fill it with nothing. Meditation apps like Calm have great content but wait for you to open them. Mellem is the bit in between.
It's a 14-day free trial with no card needed and there's 50% off your first 3 months for Product Hunt users. I'd genuinely love feedback on the notification timing and whether the sessions feel right. This is early and I'm building based on what real users tell me.
