Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Önder, a solo developer from Istanbul. Building my own puzzle game has been a dream of mine for years, and Mellow Blocks is finally it — the calm, cozy block puzzle I always wanted to make.
Here's what makes it a little different:
🎨 Soft, watercolor-style worlds instead of neon
🗺️ A 50-level journey through Clouds, Stars, Moon, Galaxy and Infinity, with a cast of characters (Mellow, Cloud, Stella, Luna, Cosmo and Nova) 🧘 Three modes: Classic, Gravity (chain clears!), and the story-driven Journey
📵 Ads that respect your time — infrequent by design, and one purchase removes them forever
🌍 Fully localized in 13 languages, including RTL Arabic, plus colorblind palettes
Everything — code, design, direction — is a one-person effort, built over nights and weekends.
I'd genuinely love your feedback: what would make this the block puzzle you'd keep on your phone?
Happy to answer anything! 🧩

the watercolor art direction is genuinely lovely, and the lack of aggressive ads is a huge win. one thing i'd love would be a daily gentle challenge or a small zen mode with procedurally generated puzzles so the journey doesn't have to end after the main 50 levels.

@myleskennedy Ahh thank you, this really made my day 🙏 The watercolor part took forever to get right, so hearing that makes it all worth it.
On the "after 50 levels" note — there are actually a couple of endless modes already in there (Classic and Gravity), so the puzzling doesn't have to stop! But I really get what you mean about a daily challenge and a pure zen flow — that's a different feeling entirely, and a lovely one. A gentle daily challenge is high on my list.
I'm also planning to expand the Journey with more levels and worlds, so there's plenty more coming. Feedback like this is exactly what helps me decide what to build next, thank you for taking the time 💛

Honestly the watercolor vibe is really lovely and the no-ads policy already wins points, but a daily calming soundscape toggle or something like a wind-down playlist for the menu screen would be amazing. Like, even just letting me pick ambient audio while I set up the next level would basically make it my new bedtime app.

@bruce_bexley Ahh this is such a lovely idea 🙏 "Bedtime app" might be my favourite thing anyone's said about it that's honestly exactly the feeling I was hoping for.
Right now there's a music on/off toggle, but what you're describing is something richer pickable ambient soundscapes, a calm wind-down track for the menu, maybe something you can just leave playing while you settle in. That fits the whole vibe so well, and it's going straight onto my list.
Thank you for painting the picture so clearly, this is the kind of feedback that genuinely shapes where the game goes next 💛
