So cool, I can't imagine a day without memes. Does your app only connect to WhatsApp?
Meme Dealer
@alina_petrova3 thank you! 💜
and nope, not only WhatsApp.
Since it works as a keyboard, we want it usable across the apps where you type.
Which messenger should we optimize first for you: WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, or Slack?
@neffko I'm using all of them. It'd also work great for social media. Sometimes I have an idea I want to illustrate with a meme and spend time to find the one that fits. Your tool could be useful as it suggests memes based on a topic or idea.

@orysia_khimiak thank you so much 🤍
Near-term plan: custom uploads, faster ranking, and better personalization by chat vibe.
Which one would you want us to ship first?
Opsenic, an OrgOps platform
Top-top, love it!
What inspired you for such naming? :D
Meme Dealer
@dpanchuk Name came from the idea that sometimes finding the right meme feels like “trading” attention in chat.

Is this even legal?! Cool idea, I'll test this out with my zoomer colleagues
Meme Dealer
@davidkaufmann fair question 😄 yes, legal - and built to make meme replies faster, not sketchier.
Would love your test results with the zoomer squad - what should we improve first after you try it?
hey i love this app
few suggestions from my side..
1) upload our own memes...
2)construct new memes on the fly rather than making them from pool of uploaded memes..
3)provide Hinglish support ( Hindi (Indian language)+ English) support ...cause normally people use their native language with mixture of English(60/40 ratio )....in general provide support for other languages as well cause mostly in groups people talk in their native languages ...
Would love to contribute if there’s any way I can add value.
Meme Dealer
@sanchit_agrawal3 Love this - thank you for the detailed feedback 🙏
Hinglish + native-language memes are a great call, humor is way more natural when people mix languages. We’re intentionally keeping v1 constrained, but this is exactly the direction we’re thinking about long-term.
Curious, in your groups, is humor more driven by text, images, or very specific local references?
Great idea! Can I create my own keyboard with my own memes?
Meme Dealer
Building a meme keyboard that reads chat vibe and suggests in 1 tap sounds simple but the retrieval under the hood is deceptively hard. Text sentiment alone won't cut it because half the humor is irony that contradicts the literal words. Meme Dealer constraining to a curated corpus in v1 is a smart call for keeping suggestions relevant and fast. Custom uploads (Kate asked about this too) would make ranking way harder... suddenly the model has to handle inside jokes with zero training signal. Nailing that without killing the 1-tap speed is where the real engineering effort lands.

@piroune_balachandran This is such a sharp breakdown - really appreciate you articulating the core challenge so clearly 🙌
You’re spot on: irony, timing, and contradiction are the hard parts, not sentiment. Constraining the corpus in v1 was very much a deliberate tradeoff to protect 1-tap speed.
Question for you: if you had to pick one signal beyond raw text to improve relevance early (without hurting latency), what would you start with?
