Hello, I'm Kensen, the maker of MemFree.
Over the past year, I've encountered two significant challenges that inspired the development of MemFree:
1. Scattered Knowledge Base : My personal knowledge base, including notes, documents, and bookmarks, was dispersed across various tools, making it difficult to quickly locate specific information. By leveraging the latest advancements in Vector search and AI models, I addressed this issue. MemFree builds a vectorized index of your knowledge base, allowing you to perform a vectorized search and receive summarized answers from the AI model.
2. Inefficient Web Searches : Searching for answers on Google often required visiting multiple web pages to find satisfactory information, which was time-consuming. With MemFree, you can provide the AI model with search results from multiple web pages, enabling it to deliver the best answer efficiently.
Over the past six months, I've developed MemFree, an open-source Hybrid AI search engine. It simultaneously searches your personal knowledge base (such as bookmarks, notes, and documents) and the internet, providing the best answers in the shortest time.
What MemFree Offers:
- Search and ask questions using text, images, files, and web pages.
- Obtain answers in various formats, including text, mind maps, images, and videos, with a single click.
- Search and Ask Product Hunt Questions
- Compare, summarize, and search multiple images.
- Perform most tasks available in ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, and Gemini Advanced.
Value of MemFree:
- Streamlined Knowledge Management: Eliminate the need to manually organize your knowledge base. Simply search in MemFree with one click to access information and answers, enhancing your productivity.
- Time-Saving Efficiency: Avoid the hassle of clicking through multiple web pages in Google search results. MemFree uses AI to summarize the best answers from various sources, saving you valuable time.
- Cost-Effective Solution: Reduce your monthly subscription fees by eliminating the need for multiple AI tools like ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, and Gemini Advanced.
I am committed to public build, and all MemFree code is open-sourced. As MemFree rapidly evolves, your suggestions and feedback are invaluable.
Thank you for your support!

Congrats on the launch, Kensen!
Beautiful idea, I also have a problem with that, especially with Miro. Is there any chance that it can be supported as well?

Congrats, Kensen!!
MemFree looks like it could save me a ton of time. I'm always juggling between my notes and web searches, so having everything in one place sounds awesome. Love that it's open-source too.
