Metapyxl is like having a manager, bodyguard, and agent for my art

As an artist working across different media, this has become essential to how I share and protect my work online. I use it to license and sell my pieces, track where they go, and most importantly, make sure people can connect directly with me when they see my work outside of my website.

The Lens browser tool is especially powerful. If someone comes across my work online, they can immediately trace it back to me, no middleman. That kind of direct connection is rare and valuable.

What I really like:

It protects my work from being lost or misused
I can see where it’s being viewed and shared
It helps me get attention without giving up control
It’s all in one place

Definitely worth checking out.

Content Credentials based on C2PA

I’ve looked into different ways to protect and share my work online, and while there are tools out there that use C2PA or visible watermarking, most of them only solve part of the problem. C2PA is great for adding transparency like showing how a piece was made and whether it’s human or AI-generated but it doesn’t fully address my concerns around ownership, visibility, or connection

What is the average detection time for new uses?

From my experience, Metapyxl’s detection is impressively fast. I’ve seen notifications come in within a day (sometimes faster) when my work pops up somewhere new. I’m not sure of the exact average time, but it feels real-time enough to stay on top of where my work is circulating.

What rate limits and authentication does the API use?

I don’t personally use the API side, but I know it’s available for developers or platforms that want to integrate it. As an artist, I benefit from the results of that integration without needing to manage it myself. For more technical details, it’s probably best to reach out to their team directly and they’ve been super responsive whenever I’ve had questions.

How is C2PA provenance verified across platforms?

I’m not a technical expert, but here’s how I understand it as an artist using Metapyxl: C2PA is like a list of “ingredients” that shows how a piece of content was created, whether it was made by a human or with AI. Metapyxl uses that system to create or read a manifest for each artwork I upload, without breaking the chain of information. That helps keep authorship and context intact when my work travels across platforms.

One thing I really appreciate is that Metapyxl makes it clear that my work is human-made, and C2PA helps signal that to others including AI systems, which I believe it helps tell not to scrape or reuse my content without permission and that gives me more confidence in sharing my work online.
