Milepost is a driving journal for your car on iOS, with an MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible AI agents. Record routes, photos, notes, music, and moments in Roadbooks. Share with friends for reactions and comments, or send a public web link. Build your garage, collect city and state stamps in each car’s Stampbook, relive routes in 3D, and make animated shares and monthly recaps. Record for free; Pro unlocks older history, exports, and deeper insights.

Hey Product Hunt, I’m Sai 👋
Milepost began on Highway 1. During a stressful summer running my startup, weekend drives gave me room to breathe. I wanted to hold on to more than the route: the quiet moments, the places along the way, and the people I met. So I built a driving journal to give those memories a home.
Here’s what you can do with it:
• Keep a drive’s route, photos, notes, music, and marked moments together in a Roadbook.
• Build your garage and collect city and state stamps in each car’s Stampbook.
• See friends’ drives, react, and leave a comment.
• Turn a Roadbook or monthly recap into a video or image with six sharing styles, from a printed receipt to a magazine cover.
• Share a Roadbook link with someone who doesn’t have the app.
Record on iPhone or iPad, keep drive controls on Apple Watch, and view and edit your Roadbooks on Mac. CarPlay, Siri, widgets, and Shortcuts fit recording into everyday life. You can also connect Milepost to ChatGPT and other compatible AI agents. Milepost is free to download, with optional Pro features.
For launch week, FIRSTDRIVE gives eligible new subscribers one year of Pro for $14.99 in the US, then $29.99/year unless canceled. An eligible one-week trial comes first. Local prices vary. Redeem through October 18, subject to availability (25,500 redemptions): https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6778542695&code=FIRSTDRIVE
I’ve put a lot of care into making the things you keep feel as personal as the drive itself. I’d love to hear what you think. What’s a drive you still remember, and what would you want to save from it?
Will the MCP server let AI assistants find details about past trips using simple questions?
The 3D route playback and monthly recaps sound fun. It would be cool to look back on all the places visited over time.
I like how this turns everyday drives into memories instead of just another trip on a map.
Sai, keeping the music and little moments alongside a route makes a Roadbook feel much more personal. Enjoyed the Highway 1 story in your launch note. Congrats!
