@dashtiev Hey Nazir great question! So the key is that all the data is stored on chain. We have a server that our webapp speaks to but thats mostly because loading 10k tokens directly from the chain everytime a user visits the site was killing our computers. Our server generates a background image from the chain data and our app serves that as the base and then gets information from the chain. The interesting part is anybody can put up their own UI that speaks to our contract. So really it doesnt matter that our site is up because everything is on chain. All that matters is someone can reference the content from the chain and render it :)

It seems the Gas Fee is as much as the 0.1 Ether value/fee. Someone please explain what gas you are using and why its so expensive in-addition to the $5 + $7 fees I paid to get the etherium ?

@chandan_maruthi1 Gas is a bit all over the place and was especially high during the crypto-wide sell off yesterday. JPEG summer (as its called) has caused gas to be perpetually high for the last month or so but you can always wait for it to go down before purchasing / trading anything

@ourielohayon We're thinking of allowing updating content on layer 2 (probs polygon) but minting will probably always be on mainnet. Once (if?) gas comes down it should be more reasonable 👀

Hello all 👋 thanks for checking out million dollar token page 🤗 I'm Krishan on of the builders of MDTP. We were astonished by Alex Tew's milliondollarhomepage when it came out in our teens and it was one of the big moments for me personally for understanding how powerful the internet was for young builders. I'm from the web2 age but when I heard about NFTs I saw this as a fun opportunity to try and replicate what Alex did and show people how NFTs can actually be used (altho we love the PFP projects). We've been in beta for months (thanks everyone who helped!) And have just launched in mainnet. Our plan is to release the tokens in tranches so that we can control it and not just have a few big owners - we want everyone to be able to participate. The first tranch of 1000 tokens is 0.01eth only so get in whilst you can. And do remember to upload an imagine once you have :) 🚀 We'll be around all day so just reach out if you ha e any questions at all 👌
