Since 2017 we've been helping airlines build customer support chatbots and have seen a lot of questions that customers have during their trips. Our AI agents for airlines have been only available on a b2b basis so far and we now are finally making our AI experiences & use cases available to travelers. @thomas_greulich While ICM Hub has been building AI-powered solutions for the travel industry since 2017, the rise of large language models (LLMs) is not going past us. MILO is the result of our very own prototyping efforts. With Milo's launch we want to accomplish the following goals: 1. Validate new use cases for pre-/post-flight as well as in-flight and we have been utilizing data that we have been collecting over in the past with our traditional models and are now fueling an LLM with these datasets. 2. We've packed Milo with new revenue-generating use cases connected to affiliate marketing programs. With Milo's launch we aim to gather data how these use cases perform with this early adopter community. 3. Verify how travelers utilize data from new APIs that we have integrated in order to provide more value to users for current or upcoming trips. We aim to understand what APIs and new partnerships we should prioritize for various offerings. With this launch we aim to collect valuable data and feedback from early adopters on various travel-specific use cases and want to understand how travelers are ultimately putting Milo to use. That's why we opted for a b2c setting with a widely used channel such as WhatsApp.

@faheem_saiyad1 thank you for raising this question. Milo is available on your mobile via WhatsApp wherever you go, even inside an aircraft. However, it does require connectivity. Regarding situations when connectivity is not available we do have another product that we are working on with airlines and in-flight entertainment (IFE) providers. It's a b2b solution that we can deploy directly on the aircraft server and it will work without connectivity e.g. during your flight.
