mindpad is a privacy-first note-taking app built in Europe. Your notes are encrypted on your device before they ever sync — not "encrypted at rest", truly end-to-end using OpenPGP.js. We can't read them. No one can, except you. No tracking. No ads. No AI training on your thoughts. EU-hosted, GDPR-protected. Honest trade-off: lose your key, lose your notes. That's the price of real privacy.

There's an MCP server. AI assistants like Claude can save notes directly to your mindpad account. Your thoughts, captured by AI, stored where only you can read them.
Happy to answer questions about the security model, how the key derivation works, why losing your key means losing your notes, or anything else. Privacy trade-offs deserve honest answers, not marketing.
I'm launching with an early access (free forever) plan but there will eventually be a small monthly or yearly subscription.
