Reviews of Mocha are strongly positive on speed, ease, and reliability for non-technical founders and entrepreneurs. Users highlight quick idea-to-app turnaround, solid handling of backend/auth, and cleaner results versus tools like Bolt or Lovable, though one outlier cites slow performance, freezes, and poor support. Power users note stable builds, occasional AI hiccups at larger scopes, and steady improvements. Compared with AI IDEs like Cursor or Windsurf, many stick with Mocha for quality and simplicity. No maker reviews were available to incorporate.
as someone who has used lovable bolt and Replit extensively, mocha is the best at one shotting prompt so far. It even one shotted Google authentication, which is wild.
I am looking forward to building with mocha more, but my initial impressions are that it is the best no code tool experience!

@aaron_makelky thanks Aaron! We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it so this really means a lot, sharing with the team.
Solid work put into this 👏 👏 👏
Currently building an LMS with Mocha, and it handles the project prompt amazingly well.
Initially, Mocha built it around their database and deployment. I requested for the project to be restructured for independent deployment using my preferred stack, and it still performed amazingly well, with the tradeoff of not being able to test on the platform. Running it locally was smooth though.

@mustapha_abdulkareem surprised it did the export well, that's outside of its regular scope 😅
Glad you enjoy the app regardless :D
Great product. Way more of a fully baked app creation tool than these other "vibe POC" tools. Also feels much faster and less cluttered than lovable.

@kip_kaehler1 thanks Kip. This is 💯 our goal

@kip_kaehler1 thanks Kip for the kind words!
The product respond to common struggles I've seen in this and other vide-coding communities. Well done, can't wait to try it.

@Nicholas Charriere This is a nice easy to use product. Great work!

Love the ability to have everything in on place. I gave it quite a long prompt and it got me halfway there. It ended up building a landing page instead of an web application which was not quite what I expected.
I think there's a lot of potential here and having the tool ask more prompting question to better understand what the user wants could help nail the intention of the prompter better.
Mocha
@lienchueh Yeah we're designing a "follow-up question tool" and also want to work more on what we call the "Scaffolding UX", which is when a user presents their idea but it needs to be 1) refined and 2) broken down into reasonable tasks.
It's a tough balance because depending on how you prompt the experience can be quite different.
We wrote a prompt guide which might help, I typically wouldn't ask for too much in the first go but lay a foundation and build upon that: https://prompt-guide.mocha.app/

@leooy That means a lot, Leo. We built Mocha exactly for moments like that, when the ideas are flowing but tech gets in the way. Can’t wait to see what you bring to life!
