The design is clean and easy to use - I really like it! I also found the "Focus with Mochi" YouTube channel through this, which is a nice addition. One thing to note: if you block the YouTube website, it also blocks this Mochi channel, which is a bit confusing. It would be nice to have it as an exception during focus sessions.

Love the idea of turning focus sessions into a playful game with Mochi evolving as I level up—those cute stages are such a fun motivator to stay on task! I’m also really curious about the eye-tracking and blinking feature, that’s such a unique, charming touch. Once you roll out focus sounds, could you add presets for different vibes like soft rain or lo-fi? Can’t wait to give this a try! ✨

I love that it has a built-in website blocker because I always get distracted during my focus sessions. I'm just wondering if I can customize which sites get blocked, or if it has a 'strict mode' that prevents me from turning it off mid-timer.

Very cute! Also happy with the website blocker feature. It reminds me of this app that I used 10+ years ago where you would virtually plant flowers and trees as you stayed away from your phone, so by the end of the day you could admire the little garden that you grew over the day. Anyone remembers what it was called?

How do you keep users engaged after the initial novelty of Mochi fades? What metrics do you track to see if focus time improves over days or weeks? Are there features you adjusted after seeing users drop off?

@mattias_blomqvist Great questions! Still early days for metrics. The level system + mascot evolution are designed as long-term hooks. Planning a stats dashboard so users can see their progress over time
