Hi everyone
We've shipped a lot to Monitrova over the last few weeks, so here's a roundup in one place.
Full website scan
One scan covering uptime, SSL, DNS, email security, headers, performance and WordPress. You get a 0 to 100 score and a grade, and your top findings for free with no signup. Create an account to see every finding with instructions for fixing it.
Daily security checks
Every site you monitor is now checked daily for exposed files (like a public .env), weak TLS settings, broken SPF/DMARC/MTA-STS records, dangling DNS records and known WordPress plugin and theme vulnerabilities. Serious problems send an alert. Smaller ones show up as tasks in your daily to-do list.
Down alerts in about a minute, on every plan
When a check fails, the site switches to one-minute rechecks until it's back. On the Free plan, the first "down" email used to arrive about an hour after an outage started. Now the outage is confirmed in about a minute.
Fewer false alarms
A Cloudflare bot challenge is no longer reported as "down"
Sites that block our checker no longer trigger false SSL alerts
An SSL certificate missing its intermediate certificates is repaired automatically during the check instead of being reported as down
"Up but broken" pages are now caught: suspended hosting, parked domains and default server pages
Free tools that go deeper (still no signup)
WordPress vulnerability detection, exposed-file checks, DKIM, MTA-STS, CAA and dangling-CNAME checks, TLS versions and key strength, real-user Core Web Vitals, and CDN/WAF detection. Run the same site again and the result tells you what changed since the last check.
Alerts you can control
Maintenance windows, quiet hours, a cooldown per incident and signed webhooks.
Easier to get started
Signup takes two fields. There's a light mode, a 7-day free trial on paid plans, annual billing with 2 months free, and the whole app is available in English and Spanish.
You can try any of the tools for free at https://monitrova.com/tools
A question for you: what's the one thing your current monitor gets wrong, or never checks? We're deciding what to build next, and replies here go straight onto the list.
Hi Wayne, just a thought that came to my mind when I read about your product one-liner ("Website monitoring that tries not to spam you.") - using the expression "tries not to" makes it sound like you're not very confident about it. I get the concept and what you mean, just thought I'd share my thoughts hoping you find them helpful.
Cheers!
@pedromlsreis Thanks for the heads up Pedro
