Arnaud here, one of the partners at Smooth Supply. Definitions first, because the terminology is new and gets used loosely. A postless 510 cartridge has no center post. On a conventional cartridge the post holds the coil and routes airflow up the middle of the tank — it is also a leak path and it traps dead volume you never vaporize. On Mono the coil is a sintered ceramic bucket with the FeCrAl heating element embedded directly in it, so there is nothing left for a post to do. Capless means there is no press-fit cap to close the tank after filling. You fill through a self-sealing silicone septum with a blunt needle instead. That matters more operationally than it sounds: capping is its own station on a filling line, with its own tooling, tuning, downtime and headcount. Remove the cap and you remove the station. The rest of the build: a transparent terpene-resistant polyamide tank rather than glass, so it survives transit and you can read the fill level; a peroxide-cured FKM base seal; standard 510 thread.
