I'm still a fan. But when we looked at what fit our business stack at Tandem, Claude won. Pragmatic decision, not a loyalty call. When I made the switch, I felt the context disappear. Every new chat starting from zero. Like moving to a new city and having to re-introduce yourself to everyone. So I tried to bring my history with me. That's when I hit the actual problem. My export was over 1GB. Raw JSON, no structure Claude can navigate, and Claude's file upload limit is 30MB. My history was 30x that. No clean path existed, so I built one. Built for me. Sharing it because I can't be the only one who hit this wall.
