Juggling personal and work Claude accounts means constant logging in and out... or a second browser. Multi-Claude is a native macOS app that runs every Claude account you have as a separate profile, each with its own session, history, and settings.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Multi-Claude because I was driving myself crazy logging in and out of Claude all day... personal account for side projects, work account for the day job, a third for a thing I was helping a friend with. Browser profiles sort of worked but felt like a hack.
Multi-Claude is a native Mac app that runs each Claude account as its own profile. Sessions, history, and settings stay isolated. Switching is one click. No account, no cloud, no sync. Profiles live on your Mac, and the only network call is a one-time license check.
A few things I want to be upfront about:
- The Anthropic question. Multi-Claude is an independent third-party app and isn't affiliated with Anthropic. "Claude" is used descriptively to say what the app works with.
- "Won't Anthropic just ship this?" Maybe eventually. But if you need it now, and you want it to be local-first with no account and no sync, this is that.
- Pricing. One-time payment, no subscription. Launch week code PRODUCTHUNT25 gets you 25% off.
I'd genuinely love feedback: features you'd want, friction you've hit with the current setup, naming, anything. I'll be in the comments all day.

@bryanlparker In what way is this native? Aren’t you still rendering Claude’s responses in a webview?

@chrismessina Fair callout. To be precise: Multi-Claude is an Electron app that manages and spawns Claude processes (Claude is itself Electron). I used “native” loosely to mean “real Mac app that lives in your Applications folder and behaves like one”, not in the Swift/AppKit sense. Apologies if that read as overstated.

@bryanlparker I've been using Multi-Claude since you launched an am a big fan. Wanted to flag a bug that's been impacting my workflow pretty consistently.
When running more than one Claude instance simultaneously, Projects in one or both instances (including those surfaced via Chat and Cowork) fail to load or sync. The project list appears empty or incomplete. When I log out, kill the extra sessions, and reload a single instance, the previously invisible projects reappear immediately.
Has this been reported before and/or do you have a potential fix/workaround? Thanks!

@kluke Thanks again for the detailed report, really helpful.
Each profile is fully isolated on your machine, which means they shouldn't be able to step on each other locally. The one thing that would cause exactly what you're seeing is two instances being signed into the same Claude account at once. They'd both hit Anthropic's backend as one account and the Projects/Chat/Cowork sync gets confused. Your fix fits that: logging out clears the session on their end and leaves one client.
I'm assuming you've got separate accounts per profile, in which case this is on me and I'll keep digging. But one quick thing to rule out: any chance two of them share a login? The common way that happens is migrating your existing Claude into a profile and then also running the original Claude app.

Browser profiles work, but they quickly become messy when you use Claude for different contexts: work, personal, clients, side projects. I like the local-first angle and the fact that profiles stay isolated on the Mac.
Do you plan to support other AI tools the same way, or stay focused only on Claude?

@thamibenjelloun Hey Thami, thanks for the comment! The work/personal/client juggling is exactly the pain that pushed me to build this in the first place.
Right now, I'm focused on Claude, but if there's real interest in something like Multi-ChatGPT or a unified "Multi-AI" version, I'm open to it. What other tools would you actually want it for?
The struggle of juggling separate work, personal, and client Claude accounts across multiple browsers or endless incognito tabs is incredibly real. Having a dedicated native macOS app to isolate these profiles and sessions is a huge quality-of-life upgrade for heavy LLM users!
Since it's a native app, it’s bound to be way lighter on RAM than running multiple browser instances. Quick question for the creators: How do you handle switching between profiles? Does Multi-Claude support global hotkeys or a menu bar dropdown so we can quickly summon a specific account while working in other apps?

@manal_essalek1 Thanks! Each profile gets its own colored icon in the menu bar that you can click to bring that profile's window forward. No global hotkeys yet, but if that's something that would be valuable, happy to add it! What hotkey behavior makes sense to you... summon a specific profile, or cycle through them?
This look incredibly useful! I've been struggling with managing multiple Claude accounts for different projects, but didn't really have time to figure out how to solve it since I was too busy 🥹 This may solve a real problem for me, I will definitely try it out!

@creativewjordyn Thanks so much! That's exactly the use case I built it for. Let me know how it goes 🙏

@pranavprakash Thanks! Right now it's Claude-only, but if there's real interest in other providers I'm open to it. Which one were you thinking?
