Great idea! It's always a pain to sign up for every different site you place an order on. But doesn't Apple for example offer exactly the same service? (signing up with your Apple ID and paying with Apple Pay)

@schmetzma Hi Maximilian! Some sites do have integrations with apple pay, but the beauty of nate is it works on absolutely ANY site - so the consumer doesn't have to depend on if the merchant has partnered with apple pay or not ;)
and we also created features to make the whole experience more social, such as list sharing & gifts.

So for those based outside of the US but who may want to purchase a gift for someone in the US – would that work?

Thanks for the pro tip on letting us know about discounts. Always in to save some $$ :) Are these coupons/discounts shared directly from websites or are they taken from extensions such as honey etc.?
@luisthompson Discounts are auto-applied if they’re publicly available to everyone. If you find a glitch, let us know and we’ll make it right :) happy buying!

Sweet! So would the creation of a virtual card also kind of mean less fraud on cc’s? I’ve heard of a few friends having issues with that in the past.
@coryschidler yes exactly! you don't have to worry about that anymore since the merchant never sees you cc info - nate works in between and charges you directly, so your data is protected

Since last year I’ve moved most of my shopping online – so this is super timely. How are shipping costs calculated for sending if addresses are not being added manually? Is it a flat fee for that or would this also change on the size and weight of what was purchased?
@dustinmetcalf all of the shipping is handled by the merchants, so the costs depend on the store and delivery address. You can input the delivery address in the app and just confirm it when hitting the 1 click buy, or in the case of gifts, the gift recipient inputs the information on their end! Happy shopping!

I spend hours online before a purchase to find the lowest price / best supplier, this is a really cool concept to reduce time lost on shopping. Congrats on the launch!

I've also saved a ton of time with gifts, now I always know what's on my friend's wishlists, and don't have to play a guessing game every time.
