ND Hive is built on something simple but powerful: real people supporting real people, in real time.
It offers a genuinely welcoming, global community where you feel met exactly where you are — not where you “should” be.
As a founding life member, I’ve used many “productivity tools” over the years, and this is the first one that actually helps in the moment. ND Hive is different because it doesn’t just organise your tasks — it supports your nervous system, your capacity, and your ability to begin.
It’s not just a tool. It’s a supportive environment.
With live body doubling, coaching, and community spaces, I no longer feel like I’m doing life alone.
The body doubling rooms are a complete game changer.
There’s something incredibly powerful about being in a shared space where others are quietly working alongside you. It removes pressure, reduces overwhelm, and makes starting feel possible — even on the hardest days.
What I love most is that ND Hive meets you in real time.
Not after the fact. Not once you’re already “on track.”
But right at the point where things usually feel stuck.
As a growing platform, there’s always room to expand — particularly in refining user onboarding so new members can quickly understand how to access and benefit from all the available spaces.
That said, the core experience is already incredibly strong, and the community is what truly makes it work.
I’ve tried a range of traditional productivity tools — task managers, planners, and systems designed to improve organisation.
But most of them assume you can already start, focus, and follow through consistently.
ND Hive stood out because it supports the starting point, not just the structure.
I chose ND Hive because it addresses the gap that most tools miss.
It’s not about doing more — it’s about being supported to begin.
The combination of live body doubling, coaching, and a genuinely human community makes it feel sustainable, not forced.
ND Hive is the first “productivity tool” that actually helped me do the things, not just plan them.
I’ve tried so many apps that look beautiful and promise structure, but they all left me staring at a perfectly organized to-do list… still unable to start. ND Hive is different because it meets you in that exact moment.
The body doubling rooms have been a game changer. There’s something powerful about being in a space where other people are quietly working alongside you. It takes the pressure off and makes starting feel doable instead of overwhelming.
What I love most is that it’s not just a tool—it’s a supportive environment. Between the live body doubling, coaching, and the community, it feels like you’re not doing life alone anymore.
If you’ve ever struggled with actually starting tasks, not just organizing them, ND Hive is 100% worth checking out.
The community in ND HIVE can truly relate to what I am going through because they have lived it. I get to be in a community where I do not have to mask. I get to just be myself which frees up some energy to be placed elsewhere. The community really loves and is passionate about what they do, and it shows every day! This is a community that truly comes together for the good and the bad!
OMG! This has already helped me get more done today. I always knew that I worked better when I had coworkers around, but this makes coworkers portable. But it's more than having coworkers, their coaches are actually helping me to prioritize and manage tasks.
But that's just part of it. The online app portion is feels like a frictionless way to keep track of tasks and the emotional side of my day, which is something I don't often talk about. The layout is easy to navigate and understand; plus the color scheme is relaxing, which is a much bigger deal for folks like me than many realize.
So far it's working a expected.
ND Hive seems to bring together all of the features I would use into one space. Switching between apps is a surefire way for me to lose momentum, and this prevents that.

No one should live life alone. When you are isolated as someone who works from home or just has a desk job that has little human interaction our productivity drops and our body stays in stress mode or gets overwhelmed easier. Human interaction, support and accountability of genuine connection increases productivity, a feeling of self worth and even reduces stress.
@danielleralstonndhive Honestly, one of the biggest shifts for me has been feeling more regulated. Before, even simple things like dishes felt overwhelming and hard to start. Since using the body doubling rooms, my brain just feels calmer and less stuck. I’m starting and finishing things more easily, and there’s way less internal resistance. It’s been a huge difference in my day-to-day life.
@danielleralstonndhive @rebekah_bingell Having a regulated nervous system is truly the center of so much! Learning, working, and communicating. Co-regulating is powerful not just for children, but for us, too!
@danielleralstonndhive The community!!! It has been night and day for me just not feeling like I was doing life alone. And it is so awesome to be able to ask to have someone check in on me for accountability.
@danielleralstonndhive @rebekah_bingell This is exactly why ND Hive exists.
Research in Neurodiversity and Industrial Organizational Psychology consistently shows that connection and psychological safety are not “nice to have”, they are essential for sustainable productivity and well-being.
What you’re describing, no longer feeling like you’re doing life alone, and being able to ask for accountability in a way that feels supportive, is powerful. That’s the shift from isolation to intentional community.
So many neurodivergent individuals have been conditioned to struggle silently. ND Hive is about changing that narrative, creating a space where support is normalized, accountability is collaborative, and showing up as your authentic self is enough.
I’m so glad you’re feeling that difference. That’s the impact we set out to create 💛
@rebekah_bingell @dr_jessica_hicksted Reading this and just thinking about how many people have spent years believing they were the problem… when really, they were trying to function in environments that were never built for them.
And the moment that pressure lifts... when support is normal... when showing up imperfectly is enough, you can almost feel the relief.
That’s the shift that changes everything.
@danielleralstonndhive @rebekah_bingell absolutely the community! I totally agree with you. It has been such a game changer for me. To know that I have support and that I am not alone has been such a breath of fresh air.
@rebekah_bingell @tara_neighbors This is such an important part of why we do what we do. We need connection
@danielleralstonndhive Solo entrepreneur for 30+ years on and off with different services has defiantly been a lonely journey at times. Connection is everything and with like minded souls that get it is amazing.
@danielleralstonndhive @sherie_x_allen Absolutely, that's been one of the biggest helps for me too trying to start a new business, working from home and moving to a new community to boot. Knowing that there are people there is something that has brought so much help and support that I didn't even realize was possible. :)
@sherie_x_allen Connection is where we find success. When you talk to high achievers etc. one of the biggest things I saw I my own research is the more successful someone is the more they are doing things WITH people and beside people. Which then increases their success and that of those in their groups. It's very cyclical.
@shefali3 When you live life trying to figure out your brain its a struggle and when you finally find your community everything changes!
@shefali3 Thank you so much for sharing that, your experience matters here more than you know.
As someone who is also late-diagnosed, I understand how powerful (and sometimes overwhelming) that shift in self-awareness can be. The coaching component of ND Hive was intentionally designed with that journey in mind, grounded in research from Neurodiversity and Industrial Organizational Psychology, but just as importantly, shaped by real lived experience.
This isn’t about “fixing” anything, it’s about helping you better understand how your brain works, building strategies that actually fit you, and creating a space where you feel supported, not judged.
I’m truly excited for you to explore it, and I would love to hear what resonates most as you do 💛
@shefali3 @dr_jessica_hicksted This is exactly the balance we’ve talked about for so long.
Research gives us the framework, but lived experience is what makes it real and usable.
And when those two come together in an environment where you’re supported instead of judged… that’s where things actually start to click.
Really excited for you to step into that.
@shefali3 me too!!! I’m sooo excited about the coaching part. I do love and appreciate body doubling but it makes such a difference to be able to ask someone really knowledgeable for a little support right at the moment when I need it!!
@shefali3 @juju_bibi Those in-between moments, where you’re trying to figure something out and your brain starts to spin... that’s where so many people stop.
Having someone there who understands and can help you move through it without judgment… that changes everything. It's why we offer 10+ hours of human supported interactive body doubling staffed with real coaches with both real world training and who are also Neurodivergent themselves. When you have someone in your pocket for those tough to process things in life... you never feel alone and find success at the same time!
@shefali3I was diagnosed as an adult, following my daughter. Welcome to the ADHD club, we are glad you're here!
@danielleralstonndhive I LOVE to plan! Planning is not the struggle for me. Its starting. I almost always know what I need to do its just actually doing it.
@danielleralstonndhive @rebekah_bingell Big fan of planning over here, too! Starting... yuck haha
@rebekah_bingell in my research 90% of people can plan a task... easily (90000 post it notes with tasks on them) but remembering what they are or starting them is always the stumbling block.
@rebekah_bingell You are definitely not alone in that, this is one of the most common patterns we see.
Research in Executive Function, especially within Neurodiversity, shows that task initiation is often the biggest barrier, not the planning. You can see what needs to be done, map it out, even prioritize it… but getting started can feel like hitting an invisible wall.
That’s exactly why ND Hive focuses not just on planning tools, but on activation supports, things like community check-ins, gentle accountability, and breaking tasks into “startable” moments rather than overwhelming outcomes.
You don’t need more discipline, you need the right kind of support to bridge that gap. And that’s what we’re building 💛
@rebekah_bingell @dr_jessica_hicksted
This is exactly it.
Planning feels good. It gives you that sense of “I’ve got this.”
But starting? That’s where it gets real.
That “invisible wall” Jessica mentioned is the part most systems completely ignore.
What we’ve seen over and over is that the gap isn’t knowledge... it’s activation.
And that’s where being around other people changes everything.
Not pressure… just someone else there while you take the first step.
Out of curiosity, what’s usually the moment you feel that wall the most?
@rebekah_bingell I am a master at planning! I often spend more time on creating plans than actually implementing them. Help!
@rebekah_bingell @shefali3 Yes we are amazing at planning, color coding and making it look amazing (well depends on the day) but taking that START step is overwhelming. So many things get in the way... executive dysfunction, RSD, decision fatigue, anxiety and so many other little things. That having others in the same space dealing with the same issues to get moving creates success for everyone.
We don’t have a consistency problem, we have an energy problem.
Some days your brain is firing, other days it’s like… absolutely not.
And science backs that up.
Your capacity literally changes based on sleep, stress, pain, dopamine, decision fatigue… all of it. So expecting yourself to perform the same every day?
That’s the real issue, this is why I teach Good, Better, Best days.
Good day = bare minimum, keep yourself afloat
Better day = normal, steady progress
Best day = momentum, big moves
Same you. Different capacity. So instead of asking “why can’t I be consistent?
Try this: What kind of day am I actually working with today… and what would make this a win?
Because forcing “best day energy” on a good day is exactly how people burn out and quit. This is why this is one of the first steps we encourage people to log into each day in our productivity hub.
@danielleralstonndhive We can actually get a lot more done when we work with our brains!
@danielleralstonndhive Once i learnt Good Better Best about 3 years ago now its really helped me daily to accept my energy levels.
@sherie_x_allen Wow its been 3 years?!! I am glad that the concept of accepting and recognizing your energy patterns started to help you accept yourself.
@danielleralstonndhive since using good, better, best days. It has allowed me to have more grace with myself
I joined ND Hive after hitting that all-too-familiar wall with productivity apps. You know the ones… great at helping you plan your tasks, but nowhere to be found when it’s time to actually start them.
What’s been different here is the body doubling rooms. Instead of relying on motivation (which… comes and goes), I can just show up, sit alongside other humans getting things done, and suddenly the fog lifts a little. Starting feels lighter. Finishing feels possible. And when the focus is a little extra hard to find I can ask someone to check in on me and that usually helps me to get in the zone.
It’s not just another tool—it’s actual support in the moment you need it most.
@rebekah_bingell I love that this helps you so much. I have an app graveyard myself and planners too lol. But having people helps me use my tools that I do have already and keep them in my habit flow!
@rebekah_bingell
when I lost at 12.5 million client I went through the process of trying to find a better way to do life and work and business. It took me to getting a college degree I ended up not needing and then 15 years of working with Neurodivergent adults we just needed companionship! But it still wasn't enough we needed support systems and tracking systems that worked for the way our brains actually work depending the daily needs.
loving this space!!! to sum it up: i’m audhd and feel seen, validated, heard. the community is sincere and strong. when i was first diagnosed i longed for a community of people who wanted to figure this journey out…. acknowledging the hard parts and looking for ways to meet ourselves where we are and support our needs. this is that place and it was worth the wait! highly recommended for anyone who needs external support without shame, to aid executive function (ability to start and follow through on tasks, organize, prioritize etc).
@dr_portia_preston What you described is exactly what so many people have been missing for so long.
A place where you don’t have to shrink, explain, or push through alone… but can actually meet yourself where you are and be supported there.
That’s the kind of community we’re building, and you’re a big part of what makes it feel that way.

I love that the community has helped you so much. Being able to do things with others is so important!
