ND Hive is a productivity hub built for ADHD and neurodivergent adults who struggle with starting, follow-through, and overwhelm. Instead of just giving you another planner, it combines live body doubling, coaching, community, and flexible daily planning tools like Good/Better/Best day support to help people move from intention to action.

When was the moment when the Hive felt like a real community instead of just a tool?
@rebekah_bingell When one of our members had a crisis and every single person saw what was happening, made sure they felt able to handle the situation and then it was all hands on deck from Paid staff down to the newest member of the community. EVERYONE jumped in to pay a hand at supporting that person.
It's also when someone needs just 2 seconds of advice to start their day off right and they get on camera off before they are even dressed for the day to regulate and prepare to be focused.
Hi, I’m Danielle, and I did not build this because I’m some perfectly organized, productivity queen.
I built this because I’m the person who will sit at my computer for 3 hours knowing exactly what I need to do… and still not start.
Not because I’m lazy.
Because my brain doesn’t work that way.
ND Hive exists because the only thing that has ever consistently worked for me (and the people I coach) is not doing it alone.
Not more apps. Not more planners.
People.
People sitting with you.
People starting with you.
People staying when your brain wants to check out.
So this isn’t “another productivity tool.”
It’s more like… a room you walk into where things finally start moving.
I’m really curious: What’s the thing you keep putting off, even though you actually care about it?
For me when I leave body doubling doing my dishes is the hardest thing to keep up with. I know I HAVE to but it's so hard to get going. If my husband sits there and chats I think it takes me 5 minutes to do it.
@danielleralstonndhive funny because since body double dishes have gotten easier for me still hate them, but I use to go days without doing dishes and now I am way more consistent.
@rebekah_bingell this is still to this day a huge problem for me.
@danielleralstonndhive and that is why you are AMAZING because you understand what it is like to go through what we do!
One thing I have been putting off is my content getting out. I was doing okay than got off track and now its been 3+ weeks.
@rebekah_bingell Well how can the community help you stay on track and accountable and not dread the task so much?
@danielleralstonndhive I think next week I will start back up again. I have a too much on the brain this week. I have everything ready on chat gpt I just need to make graphics.
@rebekah_bingell love that you are using the tools and strategies we talk about all the time.
@danielleralstonndhive i put off everything most days procrastination is real, capacity is different every day.
@sherie_x_allen And this is why we built things the way we did. So that your capacity is the deciding factor in how you plan your day and how you show up for yourself.
This week has been a mess.
We got hit right before today. Lost accounts, content, years of history. The kind of stuff that makes you want to crawl under a blanket and say “not today.”
And honestly? Old me would have. But this is exactly why I built ND Hive.
Because when everything feels like it’s falling apart, the worst place to be is alone in your own head trying to “push through.” That’s where people disappear. That’s where things stall.
The only reason we’re still showing up today is because we have people in the room with us. Supporting, working, staying.
That’s the whole thing.
Not motivation. Not discipline. Proximity.
If you’ve ever hit a moment where everything felt like too much and you just… stopped, you’ll get why this matters.
I really created ND Hive because I couldn't find what I needed. After years of making my teams work with me around a table in a conference room or on Skype video chat when that became a thing... I learned I NEEDED other people to regulate and focus. When I became an entrepreneur and a first time mom I needed human connection even to keep my house clean (and no a newborn was not very helpful here). Years of cleaning while chatting with someone on the phone and trapping them had me trying to find a better way.
@danielleralstonndhive Ive become what ive needed and always do better on the phone as i potter around doing things. on camera is sometimes a distraction but getting better over the years. joining the body doubling groups has been great if your coming in intentional.
@sherie_x_allen I love it!!
@danielleralstonndhive It's been amazing watching everyone come through as a community and step up! Even members have been stepping up!
@rebekah_bingell YES!! Watching our new users go from frustrated and overwhelmed to helping us and that being the thing that helps them get motivated on their own things is amazing. The love here helps everyone succeed.
The isolation reality check....
Do you get more done when someone else is around, even if they’re not helping you at all?
@danielleralstonndhive Absolutely!
@rebekah_bingell Co-regulation is a huge piece of this. Its not just the getting things done for productivities sake its the doing it and not being overwhelmed by it that really changes things
@danielleralstonndhive I get WAY more done when I'm with other people.
@jamie_damico People are motivational and regulation when you are struggling to get things done.
@danielleralstonndhive some day yes some day nothing gets done but its still connection or some form of productivity in some ways just not as intended
@sherie_x_allen connection helps us stay grounded and find success even if the success was just regulation of our own nervous systems so that we can dive back into action taking the next day.
@danielleralstonndhive I didn’t realize that I did that a lot by being on the phone when I cleaned. I do get so much more done when there’s just someone there, not necessarily interacting with me but just there.
@shayejen We spoke to so many neurodivergent corporate and entreprenuers at so many stories like this when we built this app. These stories are why we built this the way we have. It is very unconventional but that was the point it needed to not be like everything else out there.
Honest question for everyone here:
How many of you have downloaded a productivity app… used it for a few days… and then never opened it again?
Because that’s exactly the pattern we were trying to break.
@danielleralstonndhive I don't do apps but I have been through this with a heck of a lot with planners!
@rebekah_bingell oh I have 50 planners at any given time too.
@danielleralstonndhive so many different ways I've tried this a daily planner diary use for a few day close it and then forget to use it. online like Trello was all set up and then never used. i do better on used envelopes or a scribble pad with task list and tick boxes
@sherie_x_allen I love that... I have a post it note issue.... so post its everywhere
@danielleralstonndhive For me that was almost a new one every few weeks trying a new productivity app. And when it didn’t work for me I kept thinking what’s wrong with me that I can’t make it work.
Then I joined body doubling and WOW! I’ve gotten more things done in the last year than I could’ve ever thought. I actually completed things I had been putting off or not finishing.
And the community! That’s been amazing! It is such a blessing in my life because I don’t feel so alone anymore.
@shayejen So my question to you is what apps do you no longer need anymore because of Body Doubling?
@danielleralstonndhive I don't need multiple calendar emails, the checklist apps, the multiple tasks list ones, the productivity apps... there's so many I can't even remember them all but it's nice to decrease the clutter of apps on my phone and on my computer.
@shayejen
This right here is the shift.
It was never that something was wrong with you… it was that you were trying to make systems work that weren’t built for how you function.
And the moment you changed the environment, body doubling, real people, actual support, everything started to move.
Not because you became a different person… but because you finally had the right conditions.
I’m so glad you found this and stuck with it. And I love that you’re part of this community now.
Serious question:
What’s the task you’ve been “about to start” for… an embarrassingly long amount of time?
Like… it’s not hard, you know how to do it, you are probably an expert at it.
It’s just sitting there.
Drop it below so we can all feel better together.
@danielleralstonndhive Avoidance of a lot of tasks but my taxes is the hardest atm takes alot of brain space
@sherie_x_allen Has body doubling been helping you do that?
@danielleralstonndhive yes body doubling has really helped hold the space while I get things done.
@danielleralstonndhive I have had cards to send out that have addresses on them and stamped but they have been sitting on my counter for months.
@rebekah_bingell so when can we do this with you?
Comment ONE thing you’ve been putting off.
Then come back later and tell me if you actually started it.
No pressure… just curious what happens.
@danielleralstonndhive I’m getting in the workout this morning. It’s been a rough morning and wanted to just go back to bed but decided if you guys can be up and on here I can get up and get moving and do my workout which always makes me feel better. Thank you for the inspiration.
@danielleralstonndhive Starting a massive spreadsheet for a client.
@jamie_damico yeah I would need body doubling to even thing about getting that done.
