Hey all you good people! 👋👋👋
I'm excited to introduce Nebbl to the awesome community of Product Hunt! ✨
We came up with the idea of Nebbl because we were tired of the fact that existing cloud storage solutions are very expensive and you often pay for space you don't actually use! At the same time your files are handled not by you really, but by a third party like Dropbox, WeTransfer etc.
Nebbl is designed to democratize cloud storage and make it available to everyone!
Imagine a platform where you can own your files in your private cloud storage without any intermediaries. This is like your own personal Dropbox — only better!
Nebbl revolutionizes the way you store files online. With Nebbl you connect DIRECTLY to cloud storage and pay only for the space you actually use, calculated daily (!) instead of monthly.
No more extra costs when you pay $20/mo for 1 TB of space you don't actually use ❌
For example, storing 1 TB on a Backblaze B2 storage costs just $0.20 per day! And you pay only for the space actually occupied, i.e. storing 250 GB will cost you only $0.05/day! ✅
Also, direct cloud storage connection means there are no limits on file sizes, transfer speeds and quotas 💥
So summing up, what are the benefits?
💲 Cost efficiency: Pay your provider only for the space used, calculated daily (!)
🕵️ Privacy: Own your files in your chosen cloud storage
🔗 Easy sharing: share files with a single click via short nice links
💫 Unlimited: No limits on file sizes, transfer speeds, quotas
♾ Lifetime access: pay once, use forever!
🚀 Sync app, several killer features and much more to come in the next releases!
We're offering up to an 80% discount for early birds and will increase prices gradually, so be the first to grab that deal with the biggest discount! 💰
If you have any feedback or features you'd like us to add, please reach out to us at pavel@nebbl.com 🚀
@kjosephabraham Thank you Joseph! We'll be much grateful if you could tell us how Nebbl has helped your business or you personally!

To be honest, I'm not the target audience for Nebbl - I've been using iCloud for many years. As a user, I worry about the longevity of this tool's service. Because of these concerns, I'm hesitant to switch to another service easily. Who is your target audience?
@bonvisions Thank you for the support and the great question! Nebbl is here to stay, because it has quite solid business model, several killer features to be implemented in the nearest future and strong support of the community. Our current target audience is mostly developers, who have understanding of cloud storage and have previously worked with storage buckets. But we aim to make the bucket connection and migration to the service as user friendly as possible so we could expand and grow our target audiense base to make Nebbl more useful for everyone and democratize cloud storage access.
@pavel_bocharov thanks for sharing your product. As far as I see I have to let you know my client and secret keys to my private cloud, why is it considered private and which security measures are implemented to make sure nobody will have access to my connection string and private data?
Edit: I see the privacy doc about zero knowledge and the note that it is not yet implemented. Until it is implemented it is hard to agree that the solution is secured. Could you please uncover when and how the zero knowledge will be released?
Thanks
@kiryl_bahdanovich Thank you for your support and a great question! Currently in the earliest version of Nebbl we store the keys encrypted in our secure vault. User privacy and security is our top priority, this is why one of the first updates to be implemented in Nebbl and which is currently in progress is the zero-knowledge mechanism, which will allow Nebbl to avoid storing any credentials or user passwords entirely so it could be completely unaware of any private user data. You can read more about it here:
https://nebbl.com/docs/privacy/p...
@kiryl_bahdanovich Thanks for the clarification Kiryl! Yes, in my previous reply I've confirmed the zero-knowledge mechanism is still in progress. We're prioritizing it as one of the most crucial features for user privacy and security this is why we've put it to be implemented in the closest sprint. We estimate it to be finished in two weeks. If you want me to explain you the technical details of the implementation I'll be happy to have a chat or a call with you, but generally we'll handle the user data encryption on the client side thus eliminating the necessity for our backend to know any details about it.
Congratulations. Do you plan on making it easy to use look Google Drive? That would help bridge a needed gap between the freemium version in Google Drive (15 GB) and the affordable premium services you provide, which as a developer I would appreciate (at scale). I often prototype using GDrive, so I need drag and drop functionality + grid visualization of files etc.
@aris_nakos Hi Aris, thank you for your support and your interest! Of course, we're working hard to make Nebbl as user friendly and easy to use as possible. Drag and drop is already there for uploads, and we'll add it for files organizing in the closest updates along with the grid layout. But many more features will come in next releases which will make Nebbl even more accessible and user friendly.

Very interesting product.
Just one question.
Nebbl is a cool tool to upload file to Cloudflare R2. But I am not able to tell the difference between using Nebbl and drag N drop to Cloudflare R2 directly to upload?
What's more can I get from Nebbl?
Thank you @pavel_bocharov
@pikachupikachu Thanks for your support and a great question.
Of course you can use Cloudflare directly, but you'll quickly find that it's not designed for usual customer operations and it lacks many functionalities which Nebbl gives you.
For example you can't create and organize folders there, you can't share links easily, uploads and downloads are not convenient etc.
But there will come many more functions that will never be implemented in Cloudflare because it's designed to work as a storage facility, not a file sharing service. For example syncronization between devices, file previews, folder uploads, downloads, folder sharing etc.
Moreover, I seriously doubt that you'll be able to upload and download a really big file from the Cloudflare web interface (like 300 gb). And Backblaze for example limits uploads from their web interface to 300 mb only. But with Nebbl you can, because it has a special mechanism for network interruptions and there are no limits on upload size.
Also, you can connect not only Cloudflare buckets, but Backblaze at the same time, thus making your file storage and sharing strategy even more effective. And we'll add more providers quite soon.
So basically Nebbl gives you all these perks of an advanced file sharing service and even more, but with your own private cloud.

@pavel_bocharov Good to know. Just realized that I can create folder by nebbl, good job.
When you say "syncronization between devices", are you referring, For example, Mac or iOS app in the future?
Hey great project ! I'm probably gonna use it for my work project.
I was thinking about buying a cloud storage but wondered if there was too many things to setup or understand.
But with your tool I fell like it's gonna be easy :D
@noeschmidt Hi Noé, thanks for your support and interest! Sure, we've designed Nebbl to be as user friendly as possible. If you'll need more assistance feel free to reach me out or use the support chat! And be sure to grab that early bird deal with the biggest discount! :)
