Hands down the easiest way to find my things, no matter how poorly organized they are. Every time I use a browser that doesn't have it, there's a mini moment of shock when I realize I'm about to open 20+ tabs and 3 rabbit holes.
I use it all the time to find all of the random junk I have spread across my various services. It's become my go-to tool whenever I need to find an email or interact with google drive.

Nice idea! And nicely branded too - I like the needle and thread analogy! This might be a stupid questions, but an enterprise level, is the API set up like SSO would be - where employees apps are already synced up / given permission?

For now, Needl is designed to be set up by an individual, rather than deployed by an enterprise - anyone can download the product and sign up for an account in 5 minutes or less. Our focus is on making that self-serve experience as intuitive as possible right now!

We started Needl to solve our own problem: finding the information we needed to do our work was hard. Our knowledge was spread out across all of our apps like Notion, GDrive, Local (gasp), Gmail, Slack, the list goes on. We were always asking ourselves — was that sent over Slack or email? Or is that spec doc in Drive, Notion, Dropbox, Box, or Quip? As SaaS sprawl got worse, so did our problem.
So we set out to break down these silos and build a single source of truth with:

Haven’t people tried this before?
Yup, people have been working on creating unified internal search all the way back to @danicgross 's Cue and @hnshah 's FYI, but a lot has changed in the last few years.
1. Internal search is hard. Unlike web search, there’s often only 1 right answer and no training data. Large language models make it much easier to determine what’s relevant than ever before — helping create a great search experience.
2. APIs have gotten much better — adding and maintaining integrations is much easier than before.

+1 on Gmail being awful for finding flight confirmations LOL. Pretty cool to see your search comparison above, would get Needl literally just for that difference.

thanks @berkaydin, we so agree! our approach is using LLMs and NER to ensure the best search possible everytime-- and our results are already proving to be far better than existing search platforms (slide 3, for ex)
