Finding information isn't hard anymore. Making sense of it is. NeedleSeek turns any question into a **NeedleSeek Result**: a concise answer, confidence score, key points, supporting evidence, and a shareable page. The goal isn't to replace search, it's to help you reach clarity faster.

the confidence-score-plus-evidence pairing is the right call, most AI search tools just hand you a paragraph and expect trust by default. one angle I haven't seen asked yet: the shareable page is presumably a snapshot at generation time. for a question where the answer is genuinely evolving (an ongoing news story, a changing stat), does the shared link ever go stale and mislead the person it was sent to, or is there some indicator that says "this was accurate as of X, the underlying facts may have moved since"?
@galdayan That's a great point. Shared pages are snapshots of the result at the time they were generated, so they can become stale as the underlying information changes. Adding clearer freshness indicators for time-sensitive topics is definitely on my roadmap.
How does the confidence score actually get calculated under the hood, especially when sources disagree on an answer?
@alasyaferi44126 Great question! The confidence score is a combination of the underlying AI model's confidence and additional signals like source quality, agreement across independent sources, supporting evidence, and (where relevant) recency. Those signals help calibrate the final score so it better reflects the strength of the available evidence.
Curious how the confidence score is actually calculated - is it based on how well the sources align, or something more transparent a user can dig into?
@fatihpeketekno Great question! It's actually a combination of factors rather than a single metric. The score blends the model's confidence with signals like source quality, agreement across independent sources, supporting evidence, and (where relevant) recency to produce a more calibrated confidence score. I'd also love to make the reasoning behind it even more transparent (and visible as part of the result) over time.
Love how you stacked confidence score alongside supporting evidence on the same result page, it pushes users to actually weigh sources instead of just skimming the top answer. That feels rare in AI search tools right now.
@suna229648 Thanks! That was something I cared a lot about while building NeedleSeek. I wanted users to have enough evidence and context to make their own judgment, instead of just taking the AI response at face value. Really glad that stood out to you.
The confidence score alongside the key points is a really nice touch, makes it easy to decide when to dig deeper. Felt faster than my usual search-and-skim routine.
@ecringeen193f Thanks, that's great to hear! I'm really glad it felt faster than your usual search routine.
