@jimmy_cerone Great question! We actually spent a great deal of time trying to find the best way to deal with this. What we came up with are guidelines that our editors follow as well as some backend mechanisms that make them double check their work. On top of that, there are certain wording structures which we use that are more preferable than others in order to maintain objectivity.

Good question @sadamiak. We rely on our editors to analyze and evaluate the credibility of news they write about. We also try to find more than one source on any given topic, which reduces the chances of someting blatantly fake slipping through the cracks. It we're writing about something very partisan, we look at sources from both sides of the aisle, so to say.

@sharlsz Hi Sharlene, thanks for the kind words! If you're talking about Summly, yes, we're a bit similar, though we've looked at algorithm-based solutions and figured that the tech is not quite there yet, but more importantly, people still prefer the human touch :)
