Norde Source detects all the different colors in your icon set and lets you change a particular color once for the whole set. Along with organizing, searching, resizing and more.

This is really cool! I'm building a sort of competing app for SVGs but with different functionality and based on my own needs. I'm glad there's interest (and a market) for this sort of thing.

@gillisig Thanks, I followed you back! It's an interesting journey for both of us. Our apps overlap in certain areas but for the most part I think that we've built them to match our unique way of using SVGs. I'm more of an individual icon/glyph user, while you are focused more on working with entire libraries/sets. Am I correct to assume that you're using Electron? I didn't see that mentioned anywhere, but... so am I (Svelte + Electron).

@brbcoding yeah I thought the same thing when I skimmed over your posts, looks like we are both solving our own little different niche problems. But yeah, you are correct I'm using Electron + Vue. I used to list that somewhere but then I remembered that 99% of people don't actually care what it's built with so I removed it. That being said my first users did come from the Vue community so I think it's useful to go to the community to get some Alpha users :)

Super hopeful about this product. Fills a need I've wanted for a long time. However, I can't install it cause I get an error that says, "Norde Source" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." Any direction @gillisig? Thanks in advance!

Hi @kylestenson, I'm terribly sorry about this, at the moment we have an issue with the Electron Notirization so we can't get Apple to notarize it, and they have recently made things more strict so we have to, otherwise this error shows. We are waiting on a bugfix to resolve the issue. In the meantime you can either right click and select open, and open once again. Or you can go into your security settings and selecting "Open anyway" like seen in this picture:

This product really speeds up my svg workflow. I love the ability to have a single searchable location for all my icon sets. The ability to copy the svg code makes adding svg's to my web apps a breeze. Works great with Tailwindcss and their svg fill-current/stroke-current classes. 5 stars all around!

I can’t download this. Get a console error that says “failed to execute ‘postMessage’ on ‘DOMWindow’: the target origin provided (‘’) does not match the recipient window’s origin (‘URL’). It keeps doing that while a spinner happens in the middle of the page.

Select the size you need and export all the icons you want in one go to SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP and Vue.js, or just drag it over to your destination. Search and find the right icon in a breeze. @naiyer not yet, it's on the roadmap but we have to figure out how to manage things like different sizes of icons in the same sprite. Although we might start with a simpler version that just allows one size for all.
