Mac teleprompter that sits in your MacBook notch — right below the camera. Read your script while looking directly at the lens. 🎙️ Voice-synced scrolling — text follows your speaking pace. Pause, it waits. Speed up, it keeps pace. 👻 Invisible during screen sharing — hidden on Zoom, Meet, Teams. They see slides, you see your script. Perfect for sales calls, webinars, recordings, interviews.

@adam_mortka a cool idea and great execution. In a world where more people go remote and loose control over their thougts, Notchie allows them to structure their speech. I believe it also fits the conversation mode.
Incredible app, and I had a compatibility problem, I sent an email, Adam sorted it in 40minutes. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@boukar_sall Wow, thank you — that really made my day. I’m super glad we managed to sort it out quickly and that everything’s working well for you now.
Really appreciate the kind words and the support ⭐️
Notchie is a great tool! It does one thing, but it does it right! I had the pleasure of trying it out in my workflow and I helped me to give much better presentations. Also: the developer is very responsive and helpful.
Upvoted with pleasure!

@erikotn Thank you so much, that really means a lot — especially the part about it actually helping your presentations. That’s exactly the outcome I was hoping for when building it.
And thanks for the upvote too, I truly appreciate the support 🙂
Seems like a ripoff of Moody Prompter https://moody.mjarosz.com/
@michalkosecki In fairness, Notchie looks like an improvement of the Moody Prompter, at least that's what the demo video indicates. Haven't downloaded and used either application.
@michalkosecki An important difference for me is the ability to change the font size.
As a frequent teleprompter user, I find this tool incredibly helpful—it is truly a clever idea.
My only concern is the $29 price point, which feels a bit high. Compared to other customizable Mac apps I use, this is slightly above the typical budget for this type of utility. Reducing the price by $10 would make it much more appealing. Alternatively, offering a 30-day trial or a free version with a word limit would be a great way to let users test it first.
While my perception of the price might be influenced by being outside the US, I still think it looks like an excellent tool.

@megarbi probably make sense, I also managed to get it to app store - where they cut 30% :/ so I have to think about it. There is already trial available to check if it works for you, I am not big fun of limitting the words though.
@adam_mortka Oh, that's great to know. Thanks for the clarifications!
Just what I need for 2026, please send me a promo code.
The app is broken and the author doesn't respond to emails asking about the guarantee, or about fixing the app. Don't buy it, that's my advice.
